Great
I broke my foot and needed ice for weeks. I got sick of ziplock bags falling off my foot and leaking. I got these because they were cute. But I found that I was able to better balance these bags over my fracture. Plus, they don’t leak all over the place. And they seem to stay cold longer than ziplocks. I like them.

Not medical grade...outgasses (stinks) of Chinese reclaimed rubber/plastic...
Firstly, I won't send these back, as I was thinking of doing. But I'm applying the "you get what you pay for" regarding the usability. While many reviews indicate complete satisfaction, I believe that's because they've possibly not used quality cold-pak bags "before" China started doing "knock off" product. The major issue is the "Chinese reclaimed synthetic liner." Bottom line, if you fill these with hot water, especially hot just below boiling, the liner will "outgas" the same "stink" as one experiences if buying items, that include rubber type materials, from Harbor Freight. It's nasty, and probaby toxic to some degree. I had to shake my head when I specifically searched reviews for the words, oder, stink and smell. I guess ignorance is bliss. As many said you can fill them with hot water. That's not entirely accurate. I have a hot water unit in the kitchen that heats and stores water just below boiling. when I put the hot water in the smallest bag, as a test, within 5 minutes it not only stunk, but I feared that the liner was deforming internally and possibly leaking water through the fabric. I immediately dumped the water. That was when, after removing the cap, that the outgassing of the liner was incredibly evident. I absolutely don't recommend this product for hot water. Even with ice, expect that the liner will outgas to some degree. If you don't smell it, then visit your ENT MD for olfactory testing.

Doesn’t leak
Good product. Doesn’t leak, but after using for about a week, I noticed it seems to sweat a lot and feels damp on the outside. I know this is not terribly unusual but would help if there was a different fabric on the exterior to keep the wet feeling down. I just wrap in a towel to keep it from making the blankets, bed or furniture wet.

These so their job well.
These are great. I have only used the large one so far, twice. It stays cold for longer than I need it and doesn’t get wet.I only have two dislikes, which aren’t really a huge deal. The opening is a little tight so getting ice cubes inside isn’t difficult but it’s also not a breeze, and drying it out after use isn’t easy. You can’t really turn these inside out. I have been leaving out to dry in the kitchen window and it’s worked out alright so far on sunny days.

These are all you really need
So, I spent about 2 hours researching ice packs, bags, masks, hats, etc for migraine headaches. This after using a plastic bag wrapped in a towel that leaked everywhere. Sure I could use frozen veggies, but that would ruin my veggies. There are a few issues with using ice for migraines. Gel masks don't get cold and STAY cold. Heads are an awkward shape. You may need more than one depending on the headache.Cold wraps are strange and uncomfortable. Bands slip. Again issue with staying cold. Need to have an ice pack that can be put over your eyeballs, temples back of neck etc. All these contraptions are a great idea, but over priced. These little bags are cheap, various sizes, don't leak, and stay COLD. And i mean cold. These are all you need. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Best ice pack I've found so far for immobile soothing
I've tried many ice packs, from the gel filled ones to the solid plastic kind to the cloth covered ones with elastic straps... I like the shape and varied sizes with these. You can place them directly without using a towel or cloth between. As you know many ice packs can burn the skin if placed directly on it and these don't seem to do that. My only suggestion is don't put them in the freezer with ice/water in them for longer than an hour or so because they will freeze solid. Best is to fill it with cold water, add a handful of ice cubes and pretty quickly it is at the right soothing temperature for relieving swelling. Perfect for parts that bend or where it needs to conform like the knees, elbows, head, groin, ankle.. since it kinda drapes around the area and gets more contact with the area that hurts.

When you need a cold compress, these ice bags are the best
Sometimes you need an ice bag and frozen peas really aren't a good substitute. These ice bags are waterproof, they don't leak even if all of the ice melts. The opening of each, even the smallest one, is large enough to easily fill. The best thing is that you get three sizes to accommodate wherever you need a cold compress. Because of the design of the ice bags, they are better at staying where you need them. They are a good addition to your first aid kit.

Sometimes, the old fashioned solution is the best solution.
These are great ice packs! Heavy duty and durable, they outperform any other ice pack I’ve tried.Pro tip: fill them with a 2:1 ratio of water:rubbing alcohol solution. Leave a couple inches of headspace and close lid. Drop into the freezer for later use. The alcohol will prevent the solution from freezing solid and your ice pack will be form fitting.
