It doesn’t turn white with one application. I kept applying for days before I noticed any build up. The shine and moisture is great! Texture isn’t to thick but it’s just right for a perfect hold. I doesn’t make the hair stiff. It’s not hard to comb through the hair after the product has been applied.

I am pleasantly surprised about the ability of this edge control to hold down my coarse gray hair edges! It doesn’t wear off and it does the job all day long. You just have to be sure to apply it to dry edges to really get the full affect of this product. I recommend this product to anyone who has coarse hair gray, virgin hair, thick hair, hair that is hard to control. I love it it only takes a little bit and you’re done for the day. Try it!

When I look for edge controls I look for those that have a smooth too when I open it. This was airy and bumpy looking and I knew it wouldn’t hold my edges down immediately. I usually use this brand and couldn’t find it in the stores anywhere so I ordered on Amazon which was wayyyyy more expensive. I’m not sure why they are taking our items off the shelves. Anyway it also left a white residue.
