Professional strobe light
Very well made and large strobe light. Speed of strobe easily adjustable along with the brightness.

Nice light, a little noisy
I have used this light a few times for singing gigs. Once you screw the legs in tight, it is sturdy and doesn’t move.Bright enough to give a gentle up lighting. Only a few down sides.1. Very short plug wire.2. Very noisy, so if taking videos it probably will be heard in the background.Overall sturdy and worth the money.

Good light output, easy to control
Quite a good light for the price, easy DMX control. Fixed connections might be an issue for some users but other than that a good light.

Very bright with high CRI for photography
So, my use case for this light is a little different from other people's; I am using it in a video production set-up. The device is both very bright with a high CRI normally associated with photography/video equipment, and it also allows colour temperature correction. It pumps out 200W of light, which is more than you will need for stills photography, but makes this very useful for video/film. The problem being that most photography oriented lighting simply is not bright enough for video; most stills photography has the lighting much less than 2 metres away. With this light, you can be much further out, allowing actors to move around. The difficulty was, as expected, that this lamp is designed for a stage setting. It is (extremely!) heavy for photography equipment. Fine with existing video equipment though, as long as you have a good video tripod (which tend to be both much stronger and capable of being set on a moving dolly). You will have to make your own mounting though, as it comes with non-photography compliant fixings.I also tried this out for outdoor lighting, as that seems to be an advertised use case. Some caution on this; the lighting is waterproof, but I would not recommend leaving it out for extended periods. It is more designed for an outdoor concert/event where there might be poor weather, but not as a permanent outdoor fixture. If you intend to use this in a domestic use case (such as occasional garden lighting for parties), be aware that they are VERY bright at max illimitation, and small children seem to be drawn to it! Looking into the light at max brightness is a no-no.Overall, a very versatile light. Perfect for stage production, and very usable as a main video light because of its good colour rendition and long throw, once you have worked out how to mount it. Not so good for domestic use though because directional 200W is so bright that it can become dangerous to inquisitive young people, who will see a cool 'batman searchlight' to be played with!

This is bright, feels solidly made - be helpful with better instructions for us beginners.
The light is getting 5 stars - because it feels like a quality piece of kit - and just over £100 with the present voucher included feels decent value.I used to mess about with lights a bit, but this is a pro-DMX kit - I've tried to link two DMX lights together and not had much joy. This would clearly benefit from a DMX controller, which I'm looking into. However, the instructions are really sparse. It's supposed to be sound activated and I have no idea how to do that. It would be good if it came with some instructions for those of us not entirely versed in these matters. They do have an online website with a helpline and email, which is a nice surprise, I will likely try and call/email them to see if they can give me some tips - especially on sound activation, or "linking" without a DMX controller. My lack of knowledge is not their fault. And admittedly, for this kind of equipment you may well assume the person using knows what they're doing. This is why I've not knocked the stars off.I have figured out how to turn the brightness down, and I just manually change the speed of the strobe so it's a more gentle flicker - it makes a cool spotlight as well. The fan is a little noisy for home use - but when I say noisy, it isn't over the top - it sounds like a small fan running - which is exactly what it is. Just don't expect a silent light, obviously!Much to Mrs. R's consternation, it has taken a place on the chalk-painted dresser as I quite like the look of it - although the included DMX and power linkages mean there are ample thicker leads at the back (that are quite short, by the way! Bear that in mind when plugging in. The power cable is about 75cm long. The DMX cables are about 1 meter.)Remember though, it's been designed to link together with other lights. It's really quite a clever design and saves you buying DMX cables, too.I really want to get this working properly!! I am also learning a few new things along the way here :)I hope you found this review insightful, especially if you're a beginner that saw this and wentSTROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBEEEEEEEEEEEEE LIGHT!!!!!For those of you like me, it's still cool, even though I don't know how to use it properly yet!

Stage Lights - and Action
Delivered in a plain cardboard boxInside sits this professional stage lighting . The body of the unit is attached to the two u shaped legs for perfect angling . The light has four 50w bulbs powering it making this perfect for theatrical use . It has a long lead and UK plug .Not only is this a professional piece of lighting for indoors it can also be used outside thanks to it being waterproof . My granddaughter's stage school have been after one of these for a long time but due to COVID never managed to raise enough in contributions . This will definitely help with their year round productions both inside the theatre and whilst out on tour .Priced just over £250 the quality of its build is well reflected in its costVery happy to recommend
