At first I was a bit unsure whether or not I would buy this because it seemed very unlike me to use.I got influenced by many people around me who owned them and thought it would be a good idea to buy them for myself. I purchased these vans when they just came out, they were quite expensive at the time, but well worth it since they are really comfortable for everyday wear. My only issue was that the inside sole seemed like it came from another shoe. Its a little hard to explain since everyone is used to the typical vans sole that they use in every shoe. It left me wondering if these vans were originals or maybe a resell from another distributor...

Shoes look great! This is not what I'd call a "navy", however -- it's more of a subdued "royal" blue, so sad to say I'm returning them. I wear a women's 9 and like a wider toe box -- and these fit the bill.Package came completely destroyed -- shoe box had been tossed in enormous mailing envelope with no tape or rubber bands to hold it together. Kind of cracked me up -- only posting photo because I don't want to be refused a refund because of condition. (Note on photo; shoes did not come laced, that was my doing before I took the photo ; - )

I wear these to work, I work in a business-casual work environment and these are great. They just edge the line of whats business and whats casual and I love that I don't have to pack a change of shoes to put on after I get off work. Very easy to clean, but they do show dirty very easily, but all black shoes will. They're very comfortable, but I do get a blister on the side of my pinky toe if I walk too much, but thats because I have wide feet, not the fault of the shoe.Overall, very pleased.

Vans never disappoints. If your shoes fell apart or they don't fit, you probably didn't buy *real* Vans. The knockoffs really do exist. These shoes don't cost 40$ for no reason. If you bought real Vans and you don't like them, more than likely Vans isn't the shoe for you. I bought these to replace some Mossimo copies I had for over 5 years, and I'm looking forward to wearing them for a long time because they're about 5x more durable and 3x more comfortable.

It had been about 1 year that i had worn Vans shoes, so when I saw these online I was a little skeptical about buying them because I had never bought shoes online. However, now that I have them, I can say that the size is true just like at the stores. Since I have had these before, I knew what to expect from them, and am happy. If there is anybody who hasn't bought/worn Vans before, sizing is exact. So in that area you don't have to worry. However, in the past, at some stores, I have come across the case in where my size was not available, and I ended up buying 1/2 size smaller. I wear size 7 but I have worn 6 1/2. I cannot say that this is the case with everyone, but it does work with me (only Vans and a couple other brands work like this for me). With regards to level of comfort, I find them to be very comfortable. I have worn them on long walks (hills, desert, hiking, running, etc.), however, this may not be the shoe for everyone with regards to comfort. Some people get tired easily because they need arch support and these shoes do not provide that. I don't need support, so maybe that is why they are very comfortable for me. I would recommend this product though.

These looked perfect but had to return them because someone else bought the same gift and recipient didn't need two of the same! Would definitely order again but in another color. These seem to be the rage among teens and they like having them in more than one color!

I never owned a pair of Vans until my friend let me try his on and then I knew that I had to get some. They are so comfy and they look good two. The shoes look great with basically any outfit especially if you have the white Vans along with white socks so it's a white on white combination. You can do basically anything in Vans too, you can hike, skateboard, just hangout, anything, and they are like pillows for your feet all the while. Getting the vans dirty isn't a problem either! Because they're made of rubber and canvas, you can just wash them back to life. Whether your in school, going to a party, or at the office, these shoes are the thing to wear. I would suggest you buy some right now.

I bought them due to the good reviews. They are good shoes with a comfortable footbed comparable to converse. They are everyday sneakers and I don't expect them to be like running shoes in terms of support. My issue with them was the thin stiff upper canvas material. The stiffness makes them uncomfortable to wear and rubs against the top of my feet. I decided to return them.
