Although Tata Gold is a wonderful black tea, the seller is not so wonderful. The seller showed 1 kg bags of Tata Gold; yet, the seller shipped 450 g bags instead.

I love black tea--real black tea made from loose leaves. Black tea has caffeine to keep me awake and antioxidants to keep me healthy. In my opinion, the best black tea comes from India. I love the black tea from Tata Tea Gold. It is loose leaf and I make it using my French Press Coffee Maker. I followed the directions that are clearly given on the back of the bag, near the bottom. Instead of adding milk, I love to add honey, lemon, and stevia extract. The tea does smell aromatic and it tastes delicious.The advantage of using the French Press is that I make one six-ounce cup at a time. Each time I make another cup, I leave the previous one teaspoon scoop inside the glass beaker and add another teaspoon. In that way, nothing is ever wasted and I get the most out of each scoop of loose leaf tea. At the end of the day, I stop adding scoops and just use what is already inside the beaker. I've been using this tea most every day for three weeks and have always had a pleasant experience with it. Unlike some other types of tea and coffee (especially the flavored ones), this black tea doesn't upset my stomach. In fact, I have drunk it the entire time I've been recuperating from my hernia surgery.I also believe drinking this black tea helped prevent me from getting a sinus infection. During the surgery, the physician had a tube inserted into my throat, which caused me to experience a lot of sinus congestion. Drinking the hot tea helped soothe my sinuses. Also, when warm weather arrives, this black tea will taste great iced.I received a thick, resealable bag of loose leaf black tea weighing 2 pounds and 3.3 ounces. It will last a long time. The best by date is clearly printed next to the Nutrition Facts table: 16 JAN 24. This is an excellent date. This is a product of India, which makes sense since the best black tea comes from India. Currently, at the time of this review, the price is $22.41, but it is on sale for $19.41. Either price is great. A bag this size should sell for around $30.00. Overall, the Tata Tea Gold, Loose Leaf Premium Black Tea, is an excellent product and I would recommend it to anyone who likes black tea.
