took it to fourth of july, lasted a couple hours of pretty heavy use. battery did get pretty low after a few hours, but it charged back up to 3/4 lights in 20ish minutes. i really like that the battery life is shown. lit all the fireworks and sparklers i tried, so im super sure this is more than enough for regular candles

UPDATE: I am updating this post after receiving a replacement for my original lighter. The original one stopped working after a week. I had attached photos showing that it wasn’t lighting up or charging. I contacted customer service through their email. It took two days to receive the replacement and it works perfectly! I have removed the old photos and now included a video of me using the new one. I have updated the rating to 5 stars to reflect how good and quick the customer service was. I will continue to use the lighter and update this review if needed. ORIGINAL 1 STAR REVIEW: This was my first time getting an electric lighter and I was super excited to try it out. I love candles and at first this was really convenient and easy to use. After a week this stopped working. I tried charging it for 2 days and it still wasn’t working. The photos show me pressing the on button with and without it plugged in to show it truly stopped working. It’s a shame because I really wanted this product to work.

I ordered this because it’s windy as all get out where I live & I just needed a lighter that I didn’t have to fight with to use. When I initially bought the lighter I thought it was pretty cool, it needed charged after 2 days, I considered that possibly normal. But then it started needing charged nightly & I only use it twice a day! I was not too thrilled about it, but sucked it up. Within a week of it starting that, I had to charge it EVERY time I wanted to use it… now I was more than annoyed. I reached out to the seller & told them I wanted a refund. They asked me to give them a 2nd chance & if I was still unsatisfied they would refund me immediately without any issues (which they would have done either way, but I do try to believe it giving 2nd chances). I received my replacement about a week before I ended up in the hospital, but the lighter was with me the whole time & not charged one time the entire time I was in the hospital & now I have been home for about 2 weeks & it is finally showing it only has 1 bar of power left!! This lighter managed to work for 2-3 weeks without issue or being recharged!!! I also love that they made the power slide a little more difficult to slide on & off because it’s a deterrent for children to play with it!! I am pleased as punch with the replacement thus far, but if I just jinxed everything by writing my review (it seems to happen a lot anymore… I need to just carry a piece of wood with me just to knock on when I leave reviews. Lol) I will happily reach back out to the company & work with them again!!!

I am enjoying this lighter very much. I am a heavy candle and incense user. Weeks later, the Suprus is still firing up from the initial charge. I also like the safety features! This lighter is a slim, trim, functional, and reliable addition to my collection. .

I didn’t know this existed. I bought so many lighters because now the fuel from the lighters just drip out when you light it. I dropped one lighter and it cracked and fluid all over the floor. Pretty dangerous I’d say.The lighter fluid was making me sick and my pipe contents were always moist and smelled weird. Who knows what is used for lighter fluid today. I couldn’t figure out why my heart was racing every time I took a hit after 10 lighters later. Yes battery life is short, but I don’t mind. I just plug it in constantly and get a spare. The end will not fit inside a pipe bowl so I was just going to get a glass one hitter. Remember not to put the end in the candle wax or the pipe contents because it’ll clog up the ignition part. I gently wipe it clean after each use with a damp Q-tip and dry it off with the other end. Not sure if that’s the right way to do it. Extremely excellent concept very glad. it should eliminate lots of health hazards, pollution and waste of plastic. Also, those of you with defibrillators, this does affect mine so I make sure it’s not close. It might just be me.

Well, for the two years it worked, it was phenomenal. Unfortunately, it now refuses to charge. The length of a charge is amazing though; I only charged it four times since I bought it, and I was using it sometimes several times a day. I used it for incense and I don't think the prongs are wide enough to easily use it to light cigarette. Candles and incense are what this is made for. The body definitely feels cheap, but the slide action feels well made and sharp, and doesn't stick at all. The prongs are housed in plastic and accumulate soot readily. You should clean the diodes when it gets sooty as it tends to impede the direction of the arc. It lights about as well as a match, taking the same time to light incense and candles alike. If you're looking for speed, go with a butane lighter, this guy's strength is not running out of fuel, not lighting things on fire quickly. As far as the noise, yes it does have the electric whine as all lighters do but it's not worse than any other. The extension and retraction of the prongs have a satisfying click at the end of the slide. Overall, I'd say this is a good lighter, though it should last longer than two years for what it cost. Last thing: it charges with USB c and does come with a very short charging cable. No wall wart though.

Had it for a while, it does what it says and the change last a long time.

Fantastic lighter. It’s lightweight, and the battery life is long, it holds the charge well. Super convenient and no more burnt matches to dispose of. Very sustainable.

I love this thing!! Why did I not know electric, rechargeable lighters were a thing?? I am a candle fanatic and went through an ungodly amount of propane lighters before discovering this. It’s a total game changer and I will never go back to gas lighters! Works great, charge lasts a decent amount of time. The lighting technique is obviously a little different than with a regular lighter and takes some getting used to, but is very easy and intuitive once you’ve got the hang of it.

Like other reviews, it’s works so well and holds charge for a long time. But after a year it will now no longer charge. Completely dead.
