I’m actually surprised at the quality of this skirt. It’s a thick denim, not the lightweight stuff – do remember that because this skirt doesn’t flow softly and it might be a little stiff for some. I purchased both the grey and dark blue denim in this style and love them both. The buttons are fixed on well, the seams are good, and they seem like any other pair of well made jeans (other than it's a skirt!). You will most likely want to size up, unless showing you ‘assets’ is something that appeals to you. I’m in my 60’s, and I’m 5’5”, 107 lbs and quite fit. I ordered a size Small. Not Extra Small. I’ve a tiny waist, and this skirt still fits well. But it clearly hugs my butt. Not something I’m keen on in this part of my life. I’m showing it with a cashmere sweater tucked in (it’s rather thin), and also with a sweater worn on the outside. The skirt does look far better when it’s ironed – I washed and ironed both (no, neither skirt shrunk in a warm wash and regular dryer) and they do look far nicer than the photos I’m showing. The bottom of the skirts tend to get stuck in the tops of my taller ankle boots, but not so much in my shorter boots. Again, it’s a stiffer skirt, semi-full, so walking more slowly is required. Well, at least for me! Still, I love my skirts! I think they'll be so nice this winter with a long, warm sweater. I've a pair of fleece lined tights that will look great with either skirt, and keep me warm this winter.

This is an edited version of my earlier post as I have since worn the skirt. The fabric is of very good quality with lovely stretch. It is heavy and not suitable for hot weather. It fits well at the waist but was very fitted on the hips and backside. Not surprising since my waist is small relative to my hips so the skirt goes in under my backside and shapes me out more than I wished. I mentioned this for those who have a waist more than 10 inches smaller than their hip measurement. I will wear a bit longer top to compensate. I didn’t expect that in a skirt described as A-line. Despite this I am quite pleased with the skirt! It washes and irons well. I did not dry it in the dryer, it was hung to dry. There was no shrinkage and minimal leeching of color. I used a spray on fabric sizing during ironing and the skirt kept its shape and looks like new. I am between 5’5” and 5’6” it comes to the floor with 1 inch heels. I may shorten it an inch or so but I don’t really have to. I think the length would be fine on higher heels. I find the skirt heavy when walking. There were a few imperfections in the fabric on the pockets. Looked like small scratched areas. This is today’s fashion and common with denim. Overall I really like the skirt.

What a cute skirt! I was a little skeptical reading the reviews, but I'm so glad I took a chance. I did get a bigger size (large) for my 5'5, 158 lb body and am glad I did. Amazon recommended a medium, but I think it would have been too snug especially around the waist. The waistline is stretchy and gives a bit, but also provides a little support. The fabric is thick and heavy - great for cooler days and feels like you're wearing something substantial. It is fitted at the waist (love the button down fly!!) with a flare from the knees down. There's great pockets and even belt loops for a cute, Western belt. It's really a mermaid skirt (which I prefer) more than an A line cut. The length is perfect and rests just at the top of my feet and without a slit (yay!). It will work great with booties to full length boots. Love it!

This skirt is a great fabric, it's well made, and I so so I should know, it has a lot of stretch, it is fitted in all the right ways, it's a beautiful design and even though I am small in height I have a big waist a big bum and hips.... And wow does it make me look like a supermodel. It's a great length, a great weight, but the princess mermaid type fit really makes this a winner. Now I got the dark blue which is very flattering if you have a few extra pounds on you and I am ordering the dark gray as well because it's few and far between to find a skirt as nicest this especially at this price. I am super pleased. I cannot say enough good things about this skirt. I read all the other reviews and everyone who said it was great was absolutely right and I'm wearing it to work tomorrow!! I like to thank the seller for making a product that's actually what it says it is.😁

I ordered this skirt in a small and a medium since I’m between sizes. The two skirts are completely different! The small was super cute on and nice quality, but a little too short and tight. I thought the medium would be perfect until I unfolded it. Unlike the small it had an elastic waist, the stitching was a boring blue rather than a contrasting brown and it just felt like very inferior quality compared to the size small. Had to return both. Sad! I don’t know if I should try ordering a medium again and just hope I get the skirt that actually matches the pictures this time?? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I cannot begin to put into words how much I LOVE this stretch denim maxi skirt! I am a size 16 and I ordered an XXL. honestly, I think an XL would fit better, but I don't wear anything tight so I wasn't sure. This skirt is so comfortable, I didn't want to take it off so I'm probably gonna buy a 2nd one so I can wear them alot. I plan on wearing this one to work from home, go to the store or shopping and also to church. I will add some photos to this review if I can get someone to take them for me. It's a rare skirt that looks pleasing on a 60+ yo woman. UPDATE: I bought this skirt one size smaller (XL - I am a sz 16, 5'3, 161 lbs) in 3 colors. I'm SO GLAD I DID!! It goes with everything!!!

Item does NOT match photo - design changed and new batch being produced have an elastic waistband at back. Returned. :-( I recommend add elastic waistband as a *VARIANT* and with updated photos so people know what they are getting. I wanted the old no-elastic design. I purchased this in two colors of the old design and I LOVE it... but it is frustrating when the design changes and the listing isn't updated to reflect this.

The reviews I read were all over the place so I took a chance on the size, looking at the hip measurement because I thought I could always have the waist altered. So, I hope my specifics help someone else because weight means nothing without body shape being taken into account: I'm 5'6", apple body shape. I weigh 135lbs. My waist is, oh, 32" (no thanks to are menopause) my hips 38", I have no rear-end to speak of and the Medium fits like a dream. It's gorgeous and I bought it specifically for my 3 pair of cowboy boots. The skirt is flattering, it really is. It's "kind"/forgiving for every shape, lots of flex/stretch, and decent weight denim. Go for it. I hope my review helps. Hopefully I can add to this by uploading a photo later.
