Alkalinity was over 9. They last a year or more each.

Here is a quick review of the product thus far. As a side note, I was NOT compensated for this review. I purchased this product at full retail price.Shipping:Shipping was excellent. Even though the product did not qualify for Prime, it arrived within 3 days! A totally unexpected and welcomed surprise! Great job on that!First impression of the product:Item arrived in a basic cardboard box. Not a problem. The unit itself was not "shrink wrapped" like other vendors but that did not bother me at all. In the box came the filter, an instruction pamphlet and a small bottle of PH testing solution. I was so glad that it came with the solution because I could do a before and after PH test right away.Installation:I have a basic GE refrigerator. The installation took less than 2 minutes. I did however let water run through the filter to clear any carbon particles. I did about 1.5 gallons and the water was crystal clear. There was a quick burst of air after I installed the filter due to the initial usage of the product. I've experienced that with other filters and is to be expected.Testing, comparison, and final thoughts:For my PH test, the original water(I saved some in a couple of glasses for taste and PH comparison), went from a greenish blue to a lavender. In other words, my drinking water went from a neutral PH to a possibly 8-9 PH value. The taste test was no comparison. The new alkaline water was so fresh and great tasting that when I compared it to what I originally had I almost gagged. For me, it was that drastic a change in taste! Of course, everyone's experience will vary according to their water supply. My house is run off of city water. I can highly recommend this product and I am so glad that I purchased the two pack. The filters are in the middle range as far as price is concerned but considering how much I spend on store bought alkaline water, it will save me hundreds of dollars with just one filter. Not to mention that I can now use this water for my cooking as well as coffees and teas!Overall, I highly recommend this product. I do however reserve the right to revisit my review in a few months with an update! Do not hesitate! I'm glad I didn't!

I just changed my filter today. I am on city water. Before the New Alkaline Filter the water out of the kitchen faucet, and GE filter with 2 drops of the pH for testing looked like 7.5 With 3 drops from the same 2 places it looked like 8.0. I flushed out 2 gal of water, just to be extra sure I cleared the lines. After installing the new Alkaline Filter, I tested it with 2 drops of the pH for testing, and it looked like 8.0. I tested it again with 3 drops, and it looked the same at 8.0. So just a little change. As for the taste test, I feel as though it tasted better. I put today's change date on the filter, and will find out how long it will last before I get the red change light, hopefully longer than 6 months.

I had a standing water cooler and my regular filter in refrigerator tasted horrible. This is absolutely refreshing and akaline. We did the ph test with all three sources and these filters are very high akaline. My tap was even better akaline than my regular water cooler. Thank you for making this.

We've been buying alkaline water for my husband....I had no idea they made filters that make alkaline water! The pH testing showed how much more alkaline the water is with the filter. This is saving us money!!

This filter does Everything mfgr claimed. Absolutely Delicious Water💜

Ph test shows it does exactly says it says it does.Fast shipping and great price when ordering 2 or 3.I don't know why I'd ever go back to normal filters again.
