My senior dog has allergies and sometimes the poor baby itches himself so bad he bleeds. Also, I’ve been struggling with a flea problems, which isn’t helping. I also have a cat who has a flea allergy, and only after trying nearly every flea treatment on the market for months, I finally found one that worked. (In case anyone’s wondering, it’s Cheristin.) My kitty had itched herself so bad that she had a big sore on her neck and at the base of her tail. I’ve only ever used Neosporin in the past, but because of the high price of it, and the low price of this GoodSense brand, decided to give it a try. I used it twice on my dog and my cat, and both of their skin was remarkably better within 24 hours! It worked a lot better on my dog, but probably because dogs don’t clean themselves like cats do, and he has really short fur. It worked so well that this is going to be the only brand I use from now on. I rescue animals and keep triple antibiotic ointment in my home at all times, because if an animal ever has a minor skin infection or bite wounds, I learned that you can crush an oral antibiotic tablet and mix just a pinch of it in with some triple antibiotic ointment (not cream), rub it on their wounds, and it works better and faster than any RX ointment, AND it saves me from another vet bill. I didn’t need the antibiotic for my cat or dog this time, but just wanted any other pet parents to know that’s an option. The only thing I can’t comment on is whether it provides pain relief. I haven’t needed to use it on myself yet, but when I do, I’ll try to remember to come back and update my review. I highly recommend this GoodSense triple antibiotic ointment!

I've tried quite a few antibiotic ointments, popular name brands, this is better. They used to have it at my Harris Teeter grocery store and haven't in a while so I went looking for it. Fortunately I found it online at Amazon. As long as I have a choice I won't use another brand.

Works good, skin irritation went away after a couple days of use

Honestly this product was a lifesaver for me. I work random hours so I had no time to be going to the doctors to have something checked out. I had an ingrown that I felt was growing bigger, redder and more inflamed. (I know this is gross but bare with me ) I was getting worried so I found out this product through a website that said was able to treat ingrown. What I would do is I would use another product that would be specifically for ingrowns as well that would basically sanitize the area and then I would apply just like a small dot( seriously a little goes a long way like i used less than a dime amount) and spread it onto it. I would make sure I wore lose clothing. I would apply every morning and night( right before bed), and if i was ever home in the afternoon I would apply some on too. Like in 2 days i saw a dramatic diffrence and in two weeks following this routine it shrunk and went away! It worked so well I ended up canceling my doctor's appointment. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I had even bought neosporin but didnt even open the package. This product is good for the price and effective as well. (I would recommend that if your problem is serious or looks really serious you should DEFINITELY go to your doctor but my experience is different from everyone and I no longer felt the need to go. )

I Hate paying more for a product due to its famous name, when there’s an Identical product, or even a better quality product, Without the famous name for Less Cost! That’s the case with this antibiotic ointment! It has the Identical Ingredients as Neosporin, but Costs Much Less! It works the same with Identical results, so why would anyone pay more for Neosporin?! I Definitely Don’t! I will also mention that I was an R.N. for 20yrs & was certified to work almost everywhere in major hospitals (all Critical Care Units, Trauma 1-3, NICU, ERs, Onc., etc.) & for my degree completed years of Pharmacology courses, & graduated #1 in Nsg School (only saying for those who prefer qualifications with opinions!)! ; )

Burned my arm. with hot wax. Painful and red. Ordered this on Amazon got it 1 day and this product immediately started working. Relieved the pain and seemed to speed up the time for healing ! Always have this on hand !!

The first time I purchased GoodSense Triple Antibiotic Ointment, 1 Oz, through my Prime Pantry Order I was impressed with the way this ointment treats burns, cuts, bruises and definitely itching. The Seller states it is comparable to Neosporin, and I could state it is just as good without the “hefty price” of a brand name product. It is great for painful cuts, scrapes and burns, and can help prevent infections. When I placed my next Prime Pantry Order, I noticed it was “out of stock,” since I needed another ointment, I looked through the Amazon website and found the GoodSense Maximum Strength Triple Antibiotic Ointment plus Pain Relief offered as an Add-On Item. I place my order to receive the ointment. I ordered the ointment again, thinking this is an upgrade, it should be great! I started using it, and found that it is great for scrapes, burns, painful cuts, and helps prevent infection.. I was amazed at the “pain relief,” I experienced while using this ointment. I love the fact that its active ingredients can be compared to Neosporin and Pain Relief. I would definitely recommend this ointment to others, including Amazon Customers. It is non-greasy, does not have a medicinal scent, and can be worn without worrying if clothes will become tainted because of the ointment, which should not happen. It goes on smoothly, and you can sometimes forget you have on the ointment. The Seller has described this product accurately. Thanks for a great product.
