Off the bat, the first chapter hooked me. i loved these characters. this was a hard read for me at first bc i thought it was just your runofthemill stalker romance books. not that i don't like those but you do get used to things. not only was i intrigued by the characters, but the plot too was insane. definitely aided in keeping me interested. the thriller aspect to this book was crucial and sets it apart from other stalker dark romances. this book was so well written, im honestly shocked. did it have its cringe moments? yes sure. but it's well worth it. this read was the best in a long time. so SO impressed. i highly highly recommend🤍

Didn't necessarily lived up to my expectations for Cole (Aiden and Ronan are still better imo) but still really enjoyed this. But it's also fine because it didn't go the annoying usual route of OTT drama. Instead, it was more of their building relationship with a side of suspense. I guess that's one thing I actually really like about this author, is that she doesn't tend to go the typical route of playboys with a bunch of OP drama that takes away from their actual relationship, at least what I've seen so far from her. I can also tell her writing has gotten so much better from the first books in this series. There is still some repetitiveness like Silver saying "w*nker" and "I hate you" over and over again which was so ANNOYING, and again with the childhood trauma and parent dramas, but this plot did feel a bit different thankfully, so it didn't bother me as much.I surprisingly really liked the flashbacks at the beginning of the book too from when they were younger. Cole is a devious little kid haha. I'm also glad they actually did what they said they would do and saved their firsts for each other unlike some other books *ahem prettyrecklessbrokenknight ahem*. It definitely made me root for them more that they were literally IT for each other, so I def would have liked to have found our earlier that Cole was a v*rgin, but whatever. And also no OW drama thankfully, but I also thought it was kind of funny how they were constantly using other people to make each other jealous, which I was fine with seeing as they were only interested in each other, and they totally get off on it lol. I'm also legit obsessed with all the horsemen's interactions and wish we had more in here. And how they spread rumors and lies about each other too, Ronan haha, is the best, and I'm glad they really did end up to be lies.The timeline did feel a bit wacky though. I feel like there are just too many books in this series for the books to all be out of order, and it is hard to keep track of events that happened in the other books, especially when the character was trying to explain why something happened when it did. Such as Silver trying to justify why she did all that to Kim. I wish we had some of the events that happened on screen in other books, to happen here too, that way we could see what was going through their head at that time. All the mentions of Kim, and no actual Kim appearing, was boring.Also, one thing I noticed, is that this author does this really great build up to the climax, but when it happens, she fails to deliver an actual impact after all that. We have all this suspense and mysteriousness just for it to be wrapped up in literally like 5%. I do like the epilogues she does at the very end, but I hate how everything wraps up so quickly and then it's boom, epilogue time. And btw who the doll master actually was, is legit gross. Not sure how obvious or not it was though since I might have seen a spoiler already before starting it, oops.And then a couple more things that I noticed that while they don't affect my rating really, I just wasn't a big fan of them. One would be all the voyeurism. The whole s*x club thing where they get off on watching other people, and then thinking about it whilst having s*x, just didn't do it for me. I love kinky, even wish there was more of it here, but it just didn't make sense that with how obsessed they are with each other, that they prefer to watch other people have s*x. I am glad that there was no sharing or anything like that though, which people tend to do in s*x clubs in books. Cole was possessive through and through, though he definitely gets points docked off for watching Silver get beaten and not doing anything about it (that scene can also never NOT be cringey).And lastly, one more thing that I didn't care for was the pretty much no explanation on why he had a pic of a naked woman tied up on his phone. I can't remember if they said they knew her or not, but was Cole the one that did it and took the pic? We know he was a v*rgin, but he said he tried to go all the way so does that mean he tried to go all the way with more girls? Has he tied up a lot of girls? Or just Silver? Did he do any other stuff with them? On one hand, I'm glad it was vague if he really did other stuff with any other women, but on another, I wish it was more clear with how loyal he was to Silver. You can't be mad that someone took her first waltz if you've been tying and doing other stuff to girls.Overall, great books, well, except for Black Knight, still hate that one. The first books in the series aren't written as good, but they still kept my interest and I love all the MCs (except Kim). And I know there are a lot of comparisons, but this almost feels like the All Saints High series that we should have had but didn't, bleh, so I don't even care for the similarities. Now bring on Daddy King!

Ok, to say I loved this book is an understatement, this story was one of my favorites maybe my favorite on the Royal Elite Series, I’m not gonna lie, I hated Silver on the other books and a little bit on this one as well because of how stubborn she is, but I loved I finally got to see what was happening between Cole and her, I loved the whole forbidden romance and the back and forth between Cole and Silver, Rina is a queen on the Dark Romance world, the spice, the suspense and the plot twist at the end!!!! I didn’t see that one coming, I love suspense books and little things surprises me to be honest but this, what happens at the end, I didn’t see it coming AT ALL. It is great how Rina can mix suspense in a Dark Romance book like this one. And the epilogues are just Chef Kiss, so yes GREAT BOOK and a great way to close an amazing book series

From the books before this one in the Royal Elite Series, I have hated, and I mean HATED Silver. She was always so mean, and just proved how internally disgusting she was. HOWEVER… getting to see her point of view in this book, changed my opinion of her by 180 degrees, (TOTALLY). No one understood the true struggles she was going through. Even in the end someone she thought she trusted so so much, betrayed her. Silver appeared strong, powerful, mean, all the things you see from a very confident person, yet on the inside she was none of that. She was kind of broken, and the people she though she trusted the most tended to hurt her the most. If I was Silver, my trust issues would be to the MAX! Cole… where can I even begin, Cole has kinks… some fairly hot kinks if I do say so myself. Cole appears head strong, low on emotions, loves reading, but kind on the outside, to most people, however on the inside he was broken, ruthless, strong, and had a big ‘I don’t give a crap’ attitude. Silver and Cole are very opposite in that aspect of how they view themselves and how they want others to view them, and they let that control their lives. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I started this, it took a full turn from the other books from the “Royal Elite” series, but it was SO GOOD. I laughed a little, I got very very upset at times, and I cried maybe too much. Silver and Cole and absolutely meant to be, I love them together so much, it makes my heart skip beats. I give Ruthless Empire ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5 Stars. PLEASE READ EVERY BOOK OF THE “ROYAL ELITE” SERIES BEFORE THIS!!

The way cole and silvers characters developed, the amazing plot and the spice! I finished this book in one day.

Eu gostei de Cole desde o primeiro livro da Rina. Levou alguns anos até eu conhece-lo e a autora nao3me decepcionou.Cole e Silver são perfeitos juntos, eles escondem suas emoções, mas são diferentes da mesma forma que são parecidos.Cole é sociável no exterior e indiferente internamente, Silver é fria no exterior e atenciosa internamente. Um não gosta de pessoas e o outro gosta de agradar e juntos eles se completam.Conhecer essa turma foi bom demais!!!

The type everyone can watch from afar, but I’m the only one who gets to worship at her altar.”❤️‍🔥Silver aka Butterfly is just a young lady with the weight of the world on her shoulders trying to make everyone in her life happy but in turn lost herself & everyone she cared about to perfect her image.- I personally loved that we didn’t get the Silver from the previous books, she was nasty & although she deserved her comeuppance because of that, I’m glad it wasn’t a major focus in this book but rather her depth and development.Both knew they were each others from the little age of eight but had to go through years of trials and tribulations to get their happily ever after, I’m sad it’s over but I know we’ll see a little more in God of War.I loved Cole & Silver’s story, they had such intense chemistry that burned the pages.“We’re bigger than the world, he and I. There not ready for us.”

Non l’avrei mai detto e invece… Silver e Cole sono divenuti i miei personaggi preferiti tra tutti quelli della serie che ho amato dal primo all’ultimo libro! Alcuni colpi di scena mi hanno lasciata senza fiato, altri mi hanno emozionata oltremisura, non avrei potuto sperare di meglio.

Their story was so beautiful and I’ve been anticipating their story since the day I read Deviant King!! 🧎🏻‍♂️🧎🏻‍♂️There was so much mystery behind their relationship and their characters so I was just sooooooooo excited to read this!!Let me just say that cole nash is such a one of a kind character, I got so hung up over finishing this book when I realised I was probably never gonna meet a character like him ever again 💔 throughout the series he was seen as this deceptively calm,quiet and charming book nerd but… being one of the four horsemen (aka mostly unhinged, borderline psychotic and morally grey), that is OBVIOUSLY not the case🫣 the way he is so cunning and observant is so attractive tho.. phew..so I was just waiting to reach more than just the surface yakno and boy did we….! he’s so highly intelligent and I love his mind games , like I get why he’s so close to aiden man, those two are my fav anti-heroes and a bonus is that he’s just hot as the captain of their soccer team whilst also being such an avid reader— ❤️❤️ really loved seeing those rare genuine smiles and softness reserved for only silver 🥺 he’s literally my dream man, a possessive alpha who, as aiden has said a bunch of times, is a petty little b**** 🫣🤭As for my girl silver, I’m so happy we finally get to see her story!! She was only seen as the queen b and popular mean girl throughout the series so I’m glad that we finally get to see what’s behind that facade since everyone has mentioned on her sudden change from their close friendship during childhood 🥺 I’m so happy she managed to reconcile with her old mates again cause those 8 are my favourites ever 😭💓😭💗 she went thru so much growing up having to push away her best friends to not only protect them but herself as well, shes so so strong my baby 😭such a girlboss I LOVER HER, girl knows her worth and has soften the hard exterior that is cole nash, she really is his damnation.. FACTS..silver is such a strong and empowering character and I’m glad she finally found her happy ending with cole 🥹Cole and silver’s story and development throughout the whole series was so so heart wrenching to read, they’ve been through so much honestly and it was so satisfying to finally read from their povs of those scattered scenes in the previous books !! they have such a beautiful understanding of one another and compliment each other so well 💓 one of my fav parts of the book was their promise of each other’s firsts at just the mere age of eight like they grew so much 😭 their love always made me teary eyed 🥹Also, the whole story like the ACTION in this book lemme just say that I was caught off guard okay, best reveal ever (cant say too much without spoiling this) but I was on my toes till the VERY END!!I can’t wait to read the kingdom duet and conclude this series with their epilogue book and bonus scenes 🥹 I’m so happy that rina has a whole fictional world of like 27 other books to read so we can meet our fav characters again and I AM DEFINITELY ANTICIPATING LEGACY OF GODS!!!!! second generation series are just the best like YES QUEEN! OMFGI loved it from The First Word to the last Word. The plot twist, the shock I had when I found out who the stalker was. I mean who would’ve thought. I mean the build up through the years was freaking AMAZING. LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT!!!
