The Solar Radiometer, also as a Light windmill is an instructive and physical object for demonstration that was devised by the english physicist Sir William Crookes (1832-1919) in the year 1873. This physical and technical miracle shows you easily, how sunlight is changing into energy - the Sun as a source of energy in the future ! The Solar Radiometer is an technical interesting and entertaining objekt of the modern living room and it shows you every ray of sunshine if the lightmill stands at the window. The Solar Radiometer is NEW and has an diameter of approx 60 mm / 2.36 inch and a hight of approx 13 cm / 5.11 inch.

Beautifully Made Radiometer
These radiometers, which come from Germany, are beautifully made. They vary slightly in size from the specified 2.36 (60 mm) inches because they are hand made. Several years ago I bought one at a botanic garden gift shop (same size and sold as a Christmas ornament) and found that this current instrument rotates in the opposite direction. Included is a hanging drop which adds a nice finishing decorative touch. These radiometers are fairly expensive but are far superior to toy radiometers. They are also easily knocked off from wherever hung so securing them with a bit of clear thread or fishing line would prevent accidents.
