Good drive for video game consoles
The storage capacity is exactly what I needed for my Xbox Series X console. Easy to install and the console recognized it with no issue. It's small, takes up very little space and is quite fast.

fast, good amount of storage
got this to move things to my new pc i was building. file transfer was fast. i used it first to move windows over using the windows installer file, then i wiped it & moved programs/files. zero issues. & now i have it as file backup just in case

ERROR CODE caused loss of tons of files and pics
Great price and arrived quickly. It was easy to connect, easy to use. I’ve taken extremely good care of it so I know I’ve done my part.It provided massive storage for everything from documents to videos BUT now it’s no longer working and I’ve lost tons of valuable and treasured items that would of been completely lost if it weren’t for the back-up in the cloud. Sadly, everything wasn’t backed-up in the cloud. And recently I realized a lot of it is stored in Amazon Photos, but not everything.I took it to my favorite tech guy. He said part of it was dead. He had a connector that was able to see and transfer all of the files to my laptop. He spoke highly of this brand and suggested leaving it connected to my laptop all the time may have caused the error.This has impressed on me the importance of storing things that are irreplaceable in multiple places.

Great for Apple Time Machine backups.
Fast, light, portable. I actually tape it to the back of my monitor for hard drive back up using Apple Time Machine. Works perfectly.

Small form size, big data
So far, so good. I use this exclusively for Time Machine backups on my Mac. Set up was easy. Reformatted once, and again no problem. It is super small, but holds a ton of data

2006 called, it wants its hard drive back
If you're looking for an external SSD that boasts features like a data cable with USB-A on one end and a proprietary connector on the other, you have come to the right place.If you have a laptop or PC built before 2015 with USB-A connector (the rectangular one you can never figure out what is right side up or upside down), then this product will work great for you. However, I would advise you get an apple airtag and ziptie it to this cord, because the end that goes into the drive is proprietary, so if you ever lose it, good luck getting your data off of it without going through the trouble to buy just the cord.You'd think in 2024/25 it would be USB-C on both ends, like every other piece of tech on earth. Nope, not here bucko, Western Digital kicks it old school.
