ASICSMen's Gel-RENMA Pickleball Shoes

The ASICS Men's Gel shoes are everything I hoped for in terms of comfort and performance. The gel cushioning absorbs impact like a champ, making them perfect for both daily runs and casual wear. 🏃‍♂️They provide excellent support and fit like a glove, keeping my feet happy even after long hours. Great for the price. Comfy, good fit, great laces, nice grip to surface. Nice colors, too. Not much else to add.

I just started playing pickleball about three months ago but have only been using these shoes for about two weeks. I'm an athletic guy and have been around my fair share of shoes, from basketball to running all the way to rugby. They are a little stiff but they are slowly starting to break-in. It could be my feet but wearing thinner socks doesn't work well for me and "No show" socks are also not ideal since the shoes are a little stiff. The side of the shoe rubs against my ankle since the sock rides so low. Switching over to a thicker, higher sock gives me a better fit (my personal preference). I have small feet for a guy, usually wear a 9 (sometimes 8.5). I ended up getting an 8.5 because I didn't want my feet sliding around in the shoe. Having said that, I wish they were a bit wider. Maybe if I got a size 9 I would get that extra space, hard to say. Breaking them in more may help but if you have wide feet, I would not get these shoes.Overall they have good traction, little on the heavy side (that's ok) but they fit snug, are comfortable and do what I need them to do.+++++UPDATE AS OF 4/20/2023+++++Had to drop my review down to a two star. For some reason these shoes are putting a lot a strain on my achilles but only on my right foot. Not sure what is going on. I thought I might have strained my achilles but when I switched to my Asics Gel Venture 8's the pain went away. I will got back and try the Renma's in the upcoming weeks to see if the pain comes back...that will give be a better idea if the shoe is really the problem. If so I will give another update.+++++UPDATE AS OF 7/19/2023+++++After a couple more months I changed my review from two stars to four. Hard to tell if something was going on with my achilles because of the shoe or just my achilles in general. Either way the pain went away and these shoes are great. My one compliant is how narrow they are.

They were listed as pickleball shoes which I have no desire to play LOL / they looked cool and did not look over sized like some men’s tennis shoes / feel great , look great at an awesome price , size is off a bit a little small

I really like these shoes, for pickleball. They are durable and they feel very stable. When I was wearing running shoes, I was always afraid I would twist my ankle, but with these shoes feel very sturdy, with less chance to twist my ankle.

The shoes are comfortable and are good for indoor or outdoor play. However the sole has almost worn out in only 4 months. I use them only for playing pickleball. I'm going to have to buy another pair already and they will not be Asics. The synthetic rubber sole simply does not last. In the meantime I will be using my old pair (not Asics), the sole of which is still in very good condition.

Purchased them for indoor Pickle ball. They are comfortable and have good support and traction. Depending on the brand I can wear a 10.5 but other I wear an 11. My other pair of Asics I got the 11 and they fit well. I got the size 11 in these and they also fit good.

These are comfortable. Good fit. Good traction but not too much. I play pickleball on a wooden gym floor. Great shoes for that. Good looking too. I suppose I don't know how to rate a shoe as a five. I suppose if i didn't have to reach down to tie them? :-)

Way better than the same model without the leather on top where your toes end up coming out the top. At first a little bit tight… but very comfy after a week or two!

I really like these for pickleball but as a lot of reviews stated, they are narrow.
