Green Killing Machine - Internal UV Steriliser for Aquariums (3W)

Always a bit sceptical of these claims that products can work miraculously. On this occassion the product did exactly what it said it would. My 40 gallon aquarium had turned to green pea soup. I took the plunge and purchased this item. They reckoned that it would be crystal clear within 4 days. Guess what ......... it worked. My tank is now crystal clear and it was that way on day 4. I would highly reccomend this product. So far the water has stayed clear and we are now over a week into the filter being installed. Simple to do and simple to maintain.

Does what it says it does but didn’t realize the bulb only lasts 6 to 9 months then it’s around £38 to replace bit steep that wished I’d done my research first

Amazing product!! I struggled with algae and green cloudy water for ages, I tried 90% water changes, bacteria, and various other chemicals to try and treat my 180 African cichlid tank but nothing worked. As soon as I tried this UV light it made my tank crystal clear with a couple of days. If you’re on the fence about buying this, don’t hesitate and buy it asap! My tank looks awesome and has everyone commenting on how crystal clear the water is.

Only worked for 8 months so don’t buy asa waste of money

Very easy to install. Just place it in the tank and plug it in. Our tank water turned quite green, and after 3 days, I wasn't quite sure if it was working. Today it has now been 6 days since we installed it, and the change is quite remarkable. The pictures are from when it was installed, day 3, and day 6. While the light is replaceable, it is a whole encased unit you have to change out. So I feel that it is a bit wasteful, but I can understand that this is done as a safety feature to not be exposed to the UV light.

Ended up returning mine to get another color. But the product is top notch and I'd recommend it for anyone wanting color in their case. As for the UV it's a bit dim and puts out a lot of purple light which I'm told is normal. I asked about using lower band UV but everyone in the forums seemed to think I was wanting to hook it up to a 2000w supply and cook the house or something. So my search for low power emitters that will actually fluoresce my loop but not fill the case with purple continues (black case, red lights btw so purple is right out). But the product is made well and has handy magnets. Hooks right up and worked like a champ. Nothing but positive things to say about it.

C'est très exceptionnel que j'écris un commentaire. Cela fait des années que je cherche une solution pour mon aquarium de 40 litres à ce problème d'eau. Avec cet appareil, j'ai enfin trouvé LA solution. Voyez sur les photos le avant - après au bout de quelques jours. J'avais essayé de nombreux produits anti-algues, anti-etc... Rien ne fonctionnait bien. Cette fois-ci, l'eau est cristalline comme elle ne l'a jamais été. Je vous le recommande donc fortement.

Der UVC Klärer arbeitet nun seit 24 Stunden (absolut lautlos)....die Beläge sind nun schon zu 90 Prozent verschwunden und die Scheiben endlich wieder frei. Installation einfach und selbsterklärend. Absolute Kaufempfehlung !
