Finally a diet that works!,

Completely changed my mindset
After 10 years of severe allergies, seeing professionals and quacks alike, I came to a point where I couldn't continue. I have spent years eating dangerous amounts of sugar, and being 100% addicted. You have to really want to change for this book to work, I think.I felt awful, skin looked awful, I was bloated etc. I thought I would never feel good again. I have been researching for over a year of ways to come off sugar, I have read 6 or 7 books in my quest, tried diets etc and nothing has worked.When my skin got very bad and a strong antibiotic didn't clear it up I decided enough was enough.I'm now 21 days in. I have gone down 2 dress sizes - I have probably lost 9 lbs - I thought I would have lost more if Im honest, but I have had 3 / 21 days where I couldn't stick strictly to the diet as I was at events that made if difficult for me but, I didn't go mad - where I could avoid sugar, carbs etc I did, and stuck to healthier versions.I found the first week very hard - more so to do with breaking the habit of not eating and substituting meals with smoothies. And I did end up having salads each day for my lunch, which perhaps hindered me, I don't know.My skin has improved, I am less bloated and I very rarely crave sugar, bread, carbs etc. I am now having two shakes a day and a meal at night and am not hungry for the most part. I am drinking more water and if I feel peckish I have some nuts to keep me going.The best part of all this is this book has brain washed me to think long and hard about what I am putting in to my stomach. I don't want to eat badly. I choose to eat healthy which makes it such an easier task, than when you feel like you're doing it against your will. This is half the battle. It's all about the mind, and to get me off 7 bars of chocolate a day, sweets, diet coke, white bread etc after 10 years or so of bad diet, is an immense positive in my life.I am definitely not cured yet of my leaky gut or allergies, so I want to continue on the way I am going before I reintroduce new foods. But I feel like my mindset has shifted, that I am in control of myself and very few cravings now makes this so much easier than it did in the beginning. I really hope I can stick to it longterm.I will come back with an update in a few months time to see if I'm still as positive!

It does just what it says on the cover!
We bought a book, read it, decided to commit to it and started eating according to the plan.After 3 weeks of total exclusion of 7 "forbidden" foods, we both, (my partner and I) lost 10 lb in weight and 2.5 ins and 4.5 ins respectively of our waists.After the re-introduction weeks,my partner went back on bread ,eggs and milk in his tea, I re-introduced eggs on rare occasions.We went on a 2 week holiday, ate out every night (with restricted food choices) and our weight stayed exactly the same.Now, after 11 weeks, our weight is stable as is our waist measurements.Our BMI is now 23 and 22.5 and at the age of 72 and 64, we find this acceptable and sustainable. We never went hungry,and found the substitutes for sugar (stevia) and fats (coconut oil) satisfying and sustainable.At our age, we thought the extra inches on our waist and extra pounds were there to stay,but with some commitment and a bit of discipline in the beginning,we changed our eating habits and achieved the desired results.We now think of food as either a good or a bad fuel for life, rather than a short term pleasure to be enjoyed , regardless of the consequences!

Amazing!
So far using this book and the directions contained therein I have lost 10lbs 4oz - and I am only at day 19. I do have a lot of weight to lose but nonetheless this is the only 'diet' that has worked for me in recent years AND has got rid of pain I thought was due to old age and therefore I thought I just had to learn to live with. Truly amazing stuff. Try it - and follow it to the letter - you will not be disappointed.
