The PVC coupling is glued in place, is a permanent repair and can withstand the normal pressure of a home water supply system. **Q: What distance will coupling span? What is the length?** A: The 2” coupling is 3.5 inches from end to end. Each end of the pipe should be inserted at least 3/4 of an inch to allow the clamps to seal around the pipe. Witch allows you to join pipes with up to a 2” gap between them. **Q: can I use it on 63mm pvc pipe?** A: I do not think it will fit.
