I am not good at tying fish hooks to the line. This is a really good item that helps me get the knot correctly tied without tangling the fishing line when tying the knot.

Love this thing my fingers don’t work as well as they used to but this makes tying a fishing line on a rocking boat easy, once my fishing buddies see this they want one. Had to go hack and buy more cause I was giving a buddy one every time I went fishing with a different buddy. Lol

Works great for the improved clinch knot which I use almost exclusively. It is not cheap, but it is effective.

I have what is called Essential Tremors and my hands shake. Thus, it is hard to tie hooks and swivels, etc. to my fishing line. I got this to see if it would help and it does help quite a lot. I have to train my fingers and hands to use this little gem but I tied several snells and swivels practicing with it and managed to do about 6-7 in the time it would take me to tie one snelled hook without it. I recommend this tool for ease of tying tackle to your fish line if you have difficulty because of shaky hands. I also just plain recommend it for anyone who wants to try a unique little tool.

bought both sizes and tried them out. I can tie the same knots faster by hand. Poor construction and I would never buy them again. I have arthritics in one hand and thought this would help but it was just as easy to tie common knots by hand. I should send them back as I will never use them but I opened them and should have done more checking before buying.DMD

I had seen these around on websites for years and never thought about getting them until my wife bought me a set and now I wonder how I managed without them. I have several poles with hooks exposed on my boat that could catch on anything including the dogs. Once these are attached I don't have to worry anymore, plus they make it a lot easier to connect to the rod and keep the line from getting loose. They have a line cutter which is super covenant. This size fits my large circle hooks easily.

So I saw an ad for this product making it more easy and convenient than traditional forms of applying hooks and removing excess string.I though why not give it a try.I am not disappointed. So easy and convenient that it almost feels like cheating.It also has the added benefit of enclosing the hook and attaching to your pole so that there is no possible way to accidentally hook your car seat, clothing, or self anymore.Came as a set, which is nice.Now that I know my money has been well spent, I will be purchasing a few more.

Great product. Makes things much easier out in the boat for tying knots. As well, for anyone that has a hard time seeing it makes things much easier.

I love the idea, I lime the product very much. My only complaint is that after you setup your hook, it is hard to open it , a little annoying! Maybe I got a bad batch?
