Very well made...I wish I had put these in the other bathrooms.
So my architect wanted me to use these in all three bathrooms. I said no to wall hung toilets...too much of a pain. Well as it turned out a floor framing mistake I made forced me into this wall hung, and now I wish I had done them for all of the toilets. Not really intuitive to install...you must be able to read and follow very detailed instructions....But if you can do that they really aren't hard to install. The finish product looks great and the flush mechanism works beautifully. I have this carrier paired with a Toto bowl and the setup is perfect...

Excellent quality, easy install
The biggest advantage of this type of toilet/tank installation is the saving of space, and that made a nice difference in our small inner bathroom. Our experienced plumber has installed many wall-hung toilets but had never used a Geberit wall tank before. He thought this tank was the "Bugatti" of wall tanks - he really liked the construction and the mechanics. We had an outside wall 2x8 cavity to work with, so there was plenty of space to insulate behind the tank and frame as well as in front of it (frontal insulation not shown in the attached picture). We doubled up the 2x8 studs on the sides to stiffen the install and we couldn't get the frame to deflect an iota. The plumbing was very easy for the plumber to connect. The only caution I can share is that when you are finishing the wall surface, the threaded rods for hanging the toilet extend out from the face of the wall quite a bit and it's easy to catch your leg, arm or head if you aren't careful. Maybe stick a tennis ball on those or have some band-aids ready to go.

Better value than the other concealed carriers, works great several months after install
I was doing a bathroom remodel for a small powder room and started looking at wall-hung toilets because I wanted as much free floor space as possible.I was trying to figure out the difference between all the toilet tanks systems --Toto, Geberit, Duravit Kohler etc. I'd seen this specific tank recommended by Amazon with the Toto toilet I was looking at, and at first I was worried about compatibility issues. In the end, it looks to be cross-compatible with many of the systems I looked at. The main thing you need to figure out is whether your framing uses 2x6 or 2x4 and pick the right tank frame. Go to the Geberit web site and see their list of compatible toilets to be sure.2x6 wall studs: Geberit 111.335.00.5 Concealed Toilet Carrier Frame with UP320 Dual-Flush Tank2x4 wall studs: Geberit 111.728.00.1 Concealed Toilet Carrier Frame with UP720 Dual-Flush TankA lot of people worry about having a toilet tank system in the wall. Given that most of the parts are injection molded, the chances of leaking in these tank systems is low. The parts that you need to access are concealed behind the flush plates, meaning you can access it at any time. This toilet tank does not come with extra parts you need / may want.1) The actual flushing plate. I guess that's to let you pick what style / colour you want. They are quite pricey!2) The acoustic insulation bowl connection set (Geberit 156.050.00.1 Acoustic Insulation Bowl Connection Sets and Accessories). For the fact that it's just some sound-deadening foam, I thought it should have just come with the toilet wall carrier. Since I was in a hurry to install and I didn't have this kit, I just made-do by cutting some packing foam sheets and stuffing that behind the toilet for acoustic insulation. So far it seems to work fine, isn't noisy3) Connecting pipes, etc.I highly recommend watching the Youtube installation videos. They were a great help.If you are looking at these types of toilets you know that they are expensive systems, but within that price range this brand seems to be the best value of the bunch.

Works with Toto bowl
I bought the Geberit tank carrier to pair with a Toto bowl. The tank is a a 1.6 gallon and the bowl is rated for 1.28 gallon but they work fine together. I wish the water level in the bowl was higher though.

Works as advertised!!!
I built a tiny house so my bathroom is is small. I needed a toilet that used minimal space. I found that Toto made a wall hung elongated toilet that was only 21 inches long. This was perfect. Looking for a concealed carrier I decided on this Geberit. They make a 4" and a 6" wall unit. I choose the 6" actually because it was forty dollars less than the 4" wall unit. Plus to add the 3" vent I needed a 6" wall. (3" pipe is 3.5" in diameter it will fit in a 4" wall but having an inch and a half play gives you some wiggle room to work with.) The carrier comes all ready assembled minus the connections. You have to determine locations after installing or retrofit based upon your current plumbing. Installation went smoothly. I watched a couple videos on youtube about installing. Love the water savings of dual flush. The large flush mode is powerful. Having the hidden carrier saves space but it also gives a cleaner look.

Hard to install...
I was hoping for a more powerful flush. There are plenty of technical reviews but since most of those mean anything to me I went ahead and got four of these because somewhere I read they were the best but there not.

Amazing wall toilet paired with a Toto Bowl
I spent hours looking at options for our lake house half bath and am very happy with this toilet. We paired it with a Toto toilet Bowl: Toto® Ep Wall-Hung Elongated Toilet Bowl With Skirted Design And Cefiontect, Cotton White - Ct428fg#01The flushing works great and is powerful and the toilet doesn’t give us any issues with stuff on bowl. We are very happy with the purchase.
