Review: Money well spent - I went through all kinds of safety boots and trainers, and I can honestly say, that these are the best by far! Not too heavy, very, very comfortable, high quality materials used, they look and feel durable. Thanks to the side zipper (also heavy duty) you can put them on/take them off in no time! I wear them in average 10h a day and barley notice that I've them on. Sole is flexible enough to safely operate pedals of any vehicle. Unfortunately when wet, they can become slippery on certain surfaces. Also they're not very breathable and during summer weather feet can get hot and sweaty, but I guess that's the price for their water resistance feature (I don't think they're fully waterproof). Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase, strong 9/10 (room for improvement ;))
Review: Best boots I've owned - Bought these in November 2024, now I'm about to buy another set. So the first set have lasted over 18 months! Its only the sole that's letting them down too, its eventually worn through. And that's not the boots fault, I work 5-7 days a week, 9 -14 hour shifts depending on my work load. I'm always on my feet and on the go, 20k+ steps even on my shortest shift. I'm 40 and always lived in work boots. These are the best boots I've ever owned. Simple as that. Took a little longer to wear in than I'd like, but I just left the laces a little more loose than I would usually wear them, and just use the zip to get the boot on and off.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would water get in through the side zip, say if walking in long wet grass? Obviously I don't mean standing in puddles, bcz that is obvious...**
A: I would say yes as they are not waterproof, would probably also get in through the lace up area

**Q: Are these boots comfy at toe cap**
A: No too tight

**Q: Are they breathable?**
A: They are rubbish. Don't bother.

**Q: what sole protection is there**
A: Hi John,
As per the product information there is no midsole protection in the Akron boot.

Kind Regards
