🦠 Outsmart the outbreak—because saving the world is a team sport!
Pandemic: The Cure: Experimental Meds is a strategic cooperative board game expansion that adds a fifth unpredictable disease via purple dice and introduces 11 Hot Zone dice representing regional effects. Designed to deepen gameplay, it requires the base Pandemic: The Cure game and challenges players to collaborate intensively to prevent global outbreaks.

Excellent addition, if a bit over-priced
This is a great addition to the cure. You basically get three things:1) Several new characters, each with their own set of custom dice. The extra roles are fantastic, and each has a place in the game.2) A new "disease" set of dice to cure if you want. The extra disease scenario adds a whole new level of challenge and the mechanics of those dice can change the game instantly.3) A new "hot zone challenge" scenario, which places random conditions on various countries. Half are beneficial, half are painful. This is an interesting twist, but I feel it didn't add much to the overall experience.I understand one of the most expensive things a game can include is custom dice---of which there are plenty. However, it doesn't seem quite right that an expansion costs as much as the base game for ANY game. Also, the choices of colors is a bit poor. IT is really, *REALLY* hard, as in nearly impossible except under extra-bright lighting, to tell the difference between the new red and purple character dice. Some other colors are also easily confused, and thus detracts from the overall playability of the game when they are used.Despite those small issues, this is a highly recommended addition to the pandemic family.

Must have!
This is a must have. It pretty much doubles number of characters, number of events and introduces 2 new variants. While MSRP is a bit steep, this package is totally a must. As soon as you get it put characters and events into the base game and always play with them in there.one thing to note, if you have first print of the base game, then you have character cards in form of badges. All expansion runs printed characters on standard cards (as did subsequent prints of the base game). So you will have to use an opaque sleeve if you dont want to know if you are picking base or expansion character.

Great Introduction to the Pandemic Series
This is such a fun game! You do not need to be familiar with the Pandemic series to play this game. Easy to learn, yet challenging. There is also an expansion which is a great addition.

This is a Must Have expansion for Pandemic: The Cure
This expansion contains more than double the amount of role cards and dice that were included with the base game. New event dice and 5th disease dice make up the additional, modular expansion content. Extended variety and replayability are what this product offers. Must Have for fans of the base game!

More, moore dice!!
Just adds more of the same for the base game, more dice, more cards, more diseases, more characters. Also introduces two new mechanics, you can use all this stuff in any combination with the base game. Glad to have more dice to play with ))

If you have the base this is a must
This is a great expansion for the base game Pandemic: The Cure, in fact this game adds even more effort to win the game. The expansion adds some new elements that in my book should just be played every time you play the game. No hesitation to toss in the new virus and all that goes with it.

A non-essential expansion
I really enjoyed Pandemic: the Cure. It’s simple, fast, and easy. That’s what I liked about it. So I never really found myself wanting to play with this expansion’s modules. It added too much complexity. And characters are nice but not really essential, and they were different cards from my originals.I appreciate what the expansions do, they do add variety and give the game much needed legs. But you’re still just rolling dice and doing stuff. If you love Pandemic the cure and just want more, pick this up. If you play it just as a simple dice chucker, you’ll be fine on a pass.
