Love my new straws the fact that they are glass means free from BPA. They are easy to clean and won't break making them perfectly safe. They feel a little heavy on first use but you get used to that so not really an issue. I did have a slight issue with hole size in cup lid as they don't fit all cups, but eventually found one that works. I would recommend these to anyone with environmental/BPA concerns

If it weren't for the superb packaging, I wouldn't have any glass straws to talk about. They arrived at the bottom of the Amazon box under two 8.25 pound cases of canned cat food.. The length of the straws is good for my tea mugs and and ice tea goblets. It's one inch too short than I would like for my tall water mugs but I still use it and its better than plastic straws. I was impressed with thickness of the glass and find them good for my purpose and they do not feel as fragile as a goblet. They were slightly too wide and did not fit in the hole of my mugs but it was a quick fix that I was happy to do, to find the right quality glass straw to meet my needs. I have been using glass straws for around 10 years to avoid the chemicals in plastic straws. As thick as the glass is, lets be realistic, glass is glass and will break if you're not careful.

I really liked this straw until a piece of glass flaked off at the top and I came very close to swallowing it. There was no damage or pressure applied to the straw, so I wonder if it was just a matter of it bumping against my teeth that caused it. My return window has closed and I'm afraid to use the others.
