Smoke Trap+ Eco-Friendly Replacement Filters for Smoke Filter (3 Pack)

I used to be loyal to the one everyone knows, the buddy. As time went on I realized I was unhappy with that product for 3 main reasons: 1. The plastic waste - every time it was spent you are throwing away the plastic that incases the filter, the plastic packaging, amd eventually the Keychain made of plastic that came with every single one (nobody needs that many). 2. The price was getting outrageous. For a big one it was costing around $30. That brings me to my final point. 3. For the cost they didn't last very long. MAYBE and that's a generous maybe, you get a month tops with daily use. So I started looking for other options that would be more cost effective and more waste friendly. For a few days I looked up every personal air filter on the market. Smoke Trap+ was the one I decided to try and I haven't used anything else since. I only had to buy 1 plastic piece in the year it's been since I switched to Smoke Trap. The plastic piece is just a holder for the replaceable filter. The replacements come in packs of 3. The 3 pack costs just as much as one single big buddy and I get about 2 months out of each filter with daily use. I live in a ground level apartment with other apartments above mine. When I was using the buddy filter I was getting complains regularly about the herbal smell. Since I've switched to Smoke Trap+ I have gotten a single complaint. I can't recommend this enough! It's a superior product that is mindful about its impact on the environment.

Yes, just started using this about 2 months ago and it works. Easy to replace the filter cartridges and you get a little circular replacement screen with each cartridge. You can tell when filter needs changing it's harder to blow into and as you use it you can feel it getting heavier as it gets used. The trick is to push the rubber seal against your mouth firm enough so no smoke comes out the sides of your mouth. It's easy to get used to. Also take the plastic circular top off to air out overnight once or twice a week because moisture collects from your breath underneath the top. Probably would get mold eventually. It can be washed with dish soapy water too, but remove the circular screen first. There is a diagram on back of packaging. I save that as a follow guide to reassemble after changing. For cigarettes I change about every week and a half to 2 weeks. If you vape it's probably not as often. This product helps reduce the smoke to 1/2 of what you would emit from smoking a cigarette in any room. The only smoke left is right from the cigarette itself and a smokeless ashtray will get rid of that as you hold it near, it sucks it in. This works and is easy to change filters, I am pleased!

The product works. If you were worried about it being a scam, fear not. No one will know what your up to. it cuts down the smell by 70-99 percent (technique and vapor amount being the determining factors) Perfect if you have roommates or neighbors that you don't want to bother. I wish it was cheaper, but I never regret buying it.

I've been using these for the past 5 ish year's and every smoker should have one. These do 2 things it filters smoke and SMOKE SMELL (not the other stuff, get a jar) me and my wife use these in our apartment and you can tell the difference between a smokers room and a smoke trap room. Can't smoke cuz the lease agreement? Get. Smoke trap. Can't smoke cuz it's a rental? Get a smoke trap. Can't smoke cuz your at the grocery store? Good get some eggs. You'll notice your walls not turning black or little yellow outlines around your dear grandmas picture frame. I would suggest getting at least 2 if you have more than 1 person that smokes. Also if you treat it right it'll work right. Crazy I know but I would open mine up after smoking to air/dry it out and 1 filter lasted forever ( 4 months) it's probably not supposed to go that long. I only order filters probably twice a year maybe 3 if the MIL visits. Now this is where I say some other stuff. I would like a real tree camo print for the holders, would it be possible to get some sents in the filter? Mint, lemons, that kinda thing, would love a fan for drying the filters! Maybe a lanyard for the filters to make it easier when out and about. Again, 10/10 if you smoke but don't like stale smoke smell, smoke clouds or just want to smoke without a mess get this product.

Work great. Easy to use and clean. Great to have for apartment living.

The ONLY reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because mysteriously, I ended up with one sort of dud filter. Where it periodically would allow some smoke to escape. But otherwise, I absolutely want to shout this product, from a rooftop! It’s allowed me to stay comfortably indoors and not have to deal with everything that inflames my allergies, or especially not have to deal with uncomfortable temperatures. Very easy to use and reuse. It seems to last a considerable amount of time and is bigger than some competitors. No smell, no smoke. Buy one now!

These work great! Filters should not be this expensive.

These replacement filters work great and fit perfectly. They do a solid job of reducing smoke and lingering odors, making a noticeable difference in air quality. Installation is quick and easy, and they last a good amount of time with regular use. I also like that they are eco friendly and produce less waste. If you already use a Smoke Trap, these are a reliable replacement and well worth it.

These are good. They stopped my neighbours screeching, I only have 3 cigarettes a day. But this is helpful and lasts a while. Expensive though.

I love that we just have the option to just replace the filter for this smoke trap. Not having to throw away the whole device makes me feel a little better about my waste foot print. The filter and this device work great. They actually work much better than smoke buddies, which is what I used to use.
