New Age Pet® ECOFLEX® Litter Loo® Enclosure, Standard, Black

This is a very aesthetically pleasing looking way to hide the litter box. It blends seamlessly into my living room as a stylish end table, guests have no idea what's inside, and it looks like high-end furniture rather than a pet product. I purchased four of them because I have multiple cats, and they’ve transformed my space. The enclosure is initially very sturdy with a solid build and easy no-tools assembly. However, it will loosen with time from regular use and cleaning. To make it 100% reliable, it needs a little adjustment and sealing. I highly recommend using construction adhesive to ensure the pieces stay together permanently. I also lined the inside seams with it. Silicone will not hold up to cat urine—it will eventually loosen or let liquid seep underneath. Once glued together properly, it becomes a solid piece of furniture that stands up well to daily use. I’m overjoyed with this purchase. The ECOFLEX material really helps with moisture and odor resistance, and with the tweaks mentioned, these have been a game-changer for keeping things clean, hidden, and looking great. Highly recommended if you’re willing to reinforce it during setup

Love This Product!! I purchased this about a month ago and it is performing beautifully. What others are saying: Other reviewers are saying that the screw holes do not line up. I thought mine didn't either, but with a little shaking of the pieces the holes do line up, the screws sink in half way and then you can screw them in with your fingers (they are big plastic screws so easy to do by hand). "The pieces don't fit together": All the pieces I had fit together. Several of them look very similar though so you have to pay attention and get the right parts in the right place. All in all, the unit I ordered (jumbo version) was easily put together in 30 minutes. "the door hinges break" Well they are plastic, so i wouldn't suggest resting your litter box, full of cat waste and heavy litter, on the hinges. If you don't do this, then I don't know how these things could break because there is not very much weight on them. So, don't rest your box on the hinged door when you are pulling the box out to clean the litter. Just grab hold of the box and pull it out without resting it on hinged door. "urine leaks through to the floor" Yes this box is not air tight. Some have suggested using a sealant product. What I did was buy an 18 gallon tote from WAl-mart for $5, cut a cat hole in the end of it 7" up from the bottom (and as big as the box would alllow) and now I have a cheap litter box with really REALLY high sides. I've never had a cat go over the edge because it's 15.75 inches high. I find this littler box to be perfect because it is quite large and if I push it all the way to the back of the unit, the cats are required to step out of the litter box and onto the interior surface of the ecoFlex unit instead of immediately stepping out onto the floor. So, I now see ALOT less litter on my floor than I previously had seen. Most of the littler is contained in the unit and I can just use a hand vac for removal. Also with the Walmart tote as a litter box, there are already existing holes at the top of the handles where you can hang an "s" hook, and hang your litter scoop inside of the box. I also love this because then i don't have to store a nasty litter scoop somewhere else, it's contained in the litter box. The reason why I opted for the Walmart tote as opposed to ones I had from Target is that the Walmart tote has less "bends" in the bottom of the box where the litter typically clumps. With less "bends" in the box it is easier to remove the clumpy litter. It always seems to get stuck in the corners....so the less corners I have the better. I also like the colored plastic totes vs. the clear ones because the clear totes seem to be more rigid and more likely to crack. I've never had a rubber tote leak on me and I've used them for years. I suggest a black rubber one for this ecoFlex unit...I used a gray tote and you can see the gray tote through the side windows of the eco flex. Sturdy? I find it to be plenty sturdy to hold a lamp and a few picture frames. It's still even big enough for my cat to lay on top of it. With the jumbo, you also get the storage shelf, I plan on getting a basket to fit in the gap to store stuff. Anyhow, I love this product. I will buy another unit if I can fit one into my laundry room. The decreased litter on the floor is so awesome it would really be nice in the laundry room. hope this helps!!

I've had literally zero problems with this, and I've had it for 6 months now. It was easy to put together, has space for me to put canned cat food & other catty things on top. I got the Jumbo size to fit our PetSafe automatic litterbox. It fits, but it's incredibly snug... I was worried it would cause the door to pop off but that hasn't happened. Taking the litterbox out to clean is a PITA and takes two of us, but if we have to do that to keep the litterbox out-of-sight-out-of-mind in the Litter Loo, I'm cool with that. It's not great at containing the smell, and I would never ever use it as some sort of end table in the middle of the room as it is advertised... We keep ours in a closet. I read a few reviews about how their Litter Loo somehow got soaked and leaked onto the floor. That should not be an issue for anyone that actually cleans their cat's litterbox... The bottom of the Litter Loo isn't a piece of paper, if anything happened it should be able to hold well and not spill out. I see no downsides to this piece as long as you keep it away from noses and keep it clean. Don't be too rough with the door when replacing your automatic litter box. Update: I've had this for 2.5 years now, still no issues whatsoever. We've gone through 2 moves with it and it's still very sturdy. Got rid of the automatic litter box because it sucked, it's pretty easy to clean a litter box without having to drag it outside. We also no longer have an issue with smell, mostly because of the litter we use. The Litter Loo now sits out in the open at the end of our kitchen counter and functions as an extra table, and we hardly ever have any smell issues with it. I put all of his wet food containers inside the shelf, handy storage for kitty things. Highly recommended.

I am so happy with this purchase. It was very easy to put together (and I am the least skilled person when it comes to furniture building), it feels solid and stable and it looks really nice in the room I have it in. I like that the door in front opens down instead of out, so if I need to leave it open, it’s doesn’t get in the way, and it also makes it very easy to remove the litter box inside for cleaning. It also has an open shelf area between the top and the interior. So I use that to store boxes of litter bags, a box of cat toys, and several cat care books. Makes the whole area look a lot tidier. I would highly recommend this product; I expect it to last for many years.

I just love this so much, it may be the best item I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. It cost a bomb to ship to the UK (handling and customs costs were more than the item itself) but it was worth every penny (and I could find no alternative UK products made from the same kind of heavy duty but good looking plastic finish - very important as wood would clearly soil and eventually become smelly). In fact, once I’d made and set it up (which was completely simple despite a couple of the reviews I had read before purchasing - and I say that as a small sized woman who made it alone and whilst pregnant..!), I immediately ordered a second one that evening! As an aside, although the shipping times from the US to the UK were originally around 3-4 weeks, both separate shipments took only a week to arrive which was great. I bought the first one from amazon.co.uk and the second one from amazon.com because in the intervening time between purchases, the unit became unavailable on the UK site. I only mention this as it’s worth checking the US site if this happens to you (and the cost was exactly the same, bar a pound or two to reflect exchange rate differences in that time). Anyway, the unit itself is brilliant. I was fed up with litter tracking over the floors and this has totally solved the problem. It also nicely hides the litters we have, which never bothered me before but now I see such a big difference I couldn’t go back. The units themselves are really nice looking, especially with a nice (cat-friendly!) plant placed on top (we went for the antique white finish, which is an off-white colour verging on cream). The small open shelf section above the kitty’s entrance is very useful to discreetly stash a litter scoop and newspaper to collect up their business. One thing - these units are big. That shouldn’t be a surprise if you’ve read the description and measured up beforehand but I just mention as you do need the space for them. As for our boys, they took to the new housing units immediately. In fact I think they really like the extra “discretion“ the units give them as they are now totally hidden when doing their business. We haven’t had a moment of protest over the new set up and that says it all. If in doubt, go for it and get this. It’s brilliant.

ok, I want to admit how much I am NOT A HANDY PERSON with putting together projects. So, after my purchase arrived, I let it sit in the bedroom for a week before I opened the box due to dread that it would be problematic to assemble. It was packed so well and I'm glad to say nothing was damaged in shipping (other reviews complained about damaged shipments). So, I take out all the pieces and lay everything out - nervously. I noticed the parts are "numbered" and the screws have no flathead slot. Whaaaaat?? A smart set of pieces already!!! Now I'm not nervous and start reading the directions which are all pictures!! Whaaaat???Another smart piece to the puzzle! The parts go together smoothly, the screws fit the actual holes, and I don't even need a screwdriver but just my fingers. This is a breeze! The quality of the product is very nice, the type of material is great (washable and non-porous which is necessary to cat parents) and the size is ideal, to say the least! I bought the white one and it goes so well with my colors in the "cat's bedroom." It's sturdy and my current litter box fit absolutely perfect in the interior. The best feature that I like is the front door which pulls down and looks like a ramp. That way, I can pull out the litter box seeing and getting all the "goodies" in the back of the box! I am so amped about the whole deal that I am buying two more Litter Loo for the other boxes. One jumbo and another standard size. My cats went right to it and have been positive about it, too. I think they like the increased head space since I took off the "hood" on the box when I put it in the Litter Loo. And what a clever name, may I say! I really, really love this product and appreciate such ease to assemble, stylish look, quality, and perfect size. You hit a home run with this product, Litter Loo!!! THANKS!!

We purchased this of course to hide the Nasty litter box! Our furniture is dark wood...so it goes very well with our decor. I placed an old antique book along with some home accent decor and not only does it look Nice but it doesn't move despite cats using the box! We Love that it's not real wood as we also have high pee'ers so its easy to clean and won't have urine smells ingrained Forever! We did buy a shielded box none the less because we don't want to clean up pee if we dont have to...and our cats also kick around the litter and make a huge sandy mess...so the shield stops that from happening. I got the: IRIS open top Litter Box with Shield...19 x 15 x 11.8 inches...and it fits like a Charm! Many other buyers purchased the same box and it went well to read the reviews so that I got the perfect size box! This piece was easy to put together and looks nice quality... Is sturdy...and strong. I did not agree with buyers who may have thought this looked cheap or plasticity... I like Nice things in my home...if it looked crappy I would have had it sent back! It looks like a nice little accent or side table. If you get close to it..you can see the litter box thru the side openings....but most people are not going to go right up and stare deeply at a little table so it's not a big deal! We Love it and wished we had gotten it sooner...I Love my cats but looking at a cat litter box out in the hallway is just Freakin Gross! This is a Great Idea!

the box i got this in was not only filthy but practically destroyed. the plastic on the inside was partially damaged and scraped. this was a bit challenging to put together (user error likely) and the instructions at times were very unclear. it’s a decent product but really not worth the price… it’s decently sturdy and looks good when you don’t look at it for too long. overall, i hope not all their packages look like this one did.

Wow! Very impressed. Very easy to put together. No tools required, Looks great! The cat loves it. Seems easy to clean. With the easy assembly I can see it would be easy to take apart, too, if needed for cleaning. The instruction manual was perfect. All you need to do is follow the diagrams and use your fingers to tighten some large plastic screws. Even the parts where numbered, so easy. The finished product looks smart and unobtrusive; fits in nicely with about any style of furniture. We have another litter box cupboard, so was a bit worried in case they didn’t like this one, No problems there the cats christened it immediately 😺 Just had a second one delivered.. great cupboards to hide litter tray pity you can’t purchase these from the UK. Has shipping is actually more the cupboard.. but would highly recommend

This is super cool it was fairly easy to assemble, I feel the price should be lower to 150 as that would be more recommend. Because for 182 $ I feel the quality can use a small upgrade for materials as mine came with scratches but it could've just been the way it was packaged or during shipping who knows as this box was super heavy on it's own so it did came with a few small scratches and the one bigger one on the top, but other then that it's not really a big issue for me, maybe for others that might be quite a problem thought. In the end I'm happy it's perfect for what's is needed for and I can't wait for our new kitten to grow with it. It's really big inside too, can totally fit a large litter pan.

I bought this and had it shipped to the UK (the shipping and import fees cost more than the item)! I put it together in 30 minutes or so and although not quite as sturdy as I’d hoped, I am really happy with the look and quality. It’s a shame we can’t buy these in the UK as I’m sure more people would purchase if so.

Really like this item. It looks nicer than I expected. I had trouble putting it together but that likely has more to do with me than with the product as I'm not really very handy, even with simple things - so I blame myself and give it 5 stars for easy to assemble. It's sturdy for its purpose but I gave it 4 stars because I have to remember it's plastic and not something that should be leaned on. I love that it's plastic. I have a similar item made of wood and I hadn't thought it through; urine soaks into it. I won't make that mistake again. If you're tempted to buy this I would say do it - it's an awesome piece, very functional and good looking as well.
