French Short Stories: Improve and grow your French vocabulary with these 20 exciting short novels (Learn French with ease)

I've been meaning to brush up on my French - this book made it easy - it's a fun and practical book full of great stories- Paris here I come!

The stories in this slim book are short and very simplistic, not terribly interesting but they do have useful vocabulary and verb tenses do progress in complexity throughout the book. The arrangement of the stories and vocabulary is fine but beware— the story summaries are NOT direct translations of the French text — for example, a verb may be in the past tense in the French version but in the present tense in the English summary, which could be confusing to an inexperienced French learner. I am advanced enough myself to have found a number of errors in the book— that seems to be par for the course with self published books on Amazon— so it’s a fun challenge to find them— you know you will!!🤣

I’ve always enjoyed the French language so I was really excited to find something like this. I was worried that I’d be going back and forth through google translate to look up the words I didn’t know but I was happy to see the glossary terms laid out below the story. Even better was the summary of the story after. This was great practice for what I already did know in French and even better with it teaching terms that I didn’t know. Overall I found this to be a great book.I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
