I love it. It's nice, very well designed and ergonomic.

Don't be fooled by the description "mini mate". For me is the right size. I'm from Argentina, I drink mate everyday. This one was made in Uruguay, they use bigger mates than us which takes more quantity of yerba. For me is the perfect size, right amount of yerba.It is made of ceramic material and covered in leather, very good termination. The only problem I found was the top metal ring a little bit loose, I turned it 90 degrees and got fixed.It is easy to cleanup too. The only concern I have is about dropping it, it might break, I don't wanna try it, I will be careful.

Good size, definitely smaller than a traditional gourd. If you fill it too high it seeps under the top metal piece and soaks the leather a bit. Also, is it ceramic clay? Or another type of ceramic? Like a wood ceramic? I can’t tell. The internal is a little bumpy making me think it’s not a typical clay ceramic, like a mug, and the glaze is maybe not a glass glaze? Not too sure what I’m drinking a hot beverage out of. Is it a hard plastic?

I like the leather and the quality of the cup. I wish it came with the straw spoon. It was smaller than expected.

Improper internal sealing causes the water to seep into the leather and get it soaked.

Love the external leather feel of this gourd. The ceramic interior makes it incredibly easy to clean, and it is comfortable to drink in the car, at work, or walking around outside. Will likely buy another one.
