Bought these as a Christmas gift and grandsons love using them.

Fun while it lasted, but in about a month of use the rubber on the bottom ripped open and made it unsafe to use

I purchased these for my 9-year-old nephew. He loves them. It does take some practice though. I was very impressed with the quality of these stilts. Greatly exceeded my expectations.

Bought these for my daughter and she loves them. She can't do it yet without help, but one benefit of these over the sticks we used to use is the shape of the shoulder area. Since they curve back behind the shoulders it's easy to hold the poles and help her walk and steady her.Definitely recommended.

These are strong steel stilts that need to have more adjustability in sizing for different sized children. The hand holds are attached by a strong screw that is supposed to hold the telescoping shoulder shafts and leg shafts together. This is a good idea, but for taller children, there aren't enough holes at the top for these bolts, and for shorter children, there aren't enough holes at the bottom for the spring-loaded detents. They can be modified to work by carefully drilling new holes where needed. This is more satisfactory for shortening the stilts than it is for lengthening them. For lengthening them the hand hold bolts can't be inserted through both telescoping shafts. This makes it necessary to put a new bolt (1 and 1/4 " long by 5/16" diameter) and locking nut. Such bolts are available at Lowe's; I recommend stainless steel since these stilts will commonly be left out in the rain wherever the user drops them. This bolt is necessary, because the bolt that attaches the hand holds no longer holds the weight of the user. The spring-loaded detents are not capable of supporting the weight. It is questionable whether the detents are even needed. I rate this product as four stars, because, in my opinion, it would be unusual if they were usable by most children right out of the box.

He's 6 years old, so it's a little more difficult for my grandson at the moment but he'll catch on

I gave my oldest daughter’s twins stilts for Christmas. They love walking on them. The next time the twins visited their cousins the stilts went with them. She enjoyed the stilts so much she asked for a set for her birthday. The stilts require no assembly and are easily adjusted to fit different heights. They are sturdy and so easy to use the kids picked up the skill in just a few days.

I opted to get this and not the jr stilts because my daughter is 6. I figured these would grow with her. They are a little big for her. She will grow into them and does love them. My 9yr old is having a blast with them. They are easy to use with a little bit of practice. As a helicopter Mom I always worry about safety and this was a surprising gift for me to buy, but they handle them with ease. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they are a little big and my 6yr old is on the tall side so I would say these are probably more for 8+.

I am writing this review on Christmas day night. I bought these for my just turned nine year old daughter, who had specifically asked for stilts. I was a little but sceptical about these because it had an average of 2 stars, but I bought them nonetheless. Oh. My. Goodness. My daughter LOVES them. And I mean LOVES them. She has declared them her best present ever in 'all her years!!' Takes a bit of getting used to but by 3pm today she was off and there's no stopping her now. Her brothers and sisters are all clamouring for a go, they really have been the biggest hit. Such a refreshing change to buy something they love that doesn't involve a screen, headphones and expensive software!! Seriously, if you are debating about whether or not to buy these, debate no more. Just buy them. Amazing product, and I have a happy, happy daughter, so what more could I ever have asked for!!

Fantastic. Bought for special needs son who lives to do things by himself but struggles with practising. It is important for him to be able to achieve quite quickly or he becomes anxious. These are spot on and with the added bonus that his teenage sister and we adults can also mess about on them. Great buy.

Efficient delivery. Note that the box says what is inside so can be tricky if it is a surprise. She is learning how to use them :-)

Excellent product. Sturdy. My 9 and 12 year old mastered them very quickly and love them.
