The cord is even texture, color is solid black, it drapes nicely, and is very sturdy. It worked well in the cord ends that I have. I'm using it for pendant necklaces.

This product does not stand up to even the most gentle use.I wore a necklace made with this material MAYBE 10 times. The last time I picked it up, the chord pulled apart like it was made of delicate tissue. And it wasn't in just one spot either, the whole length of the chord had degraded to the point it could barely support its own weight, let alone the gentle pressure of undoing a necklace clasp.There is literally no purpose this material suits. It is a rip off. I didn't expect it to be a lifetime value, of course. But I DID expect it to last more than 10 uses. If, like me, you thought you could save a buck not buying leather or real suede for your necklace chords, know that I LOST $10 on the deal and don't even have a single product to show for it! Nothing is more expensive than that.

Awesome cord for necklaces

I got this qhickly and it was far better than expected. There was more on the spool than what you buy in the local stores for more money. I just finished the spoon and not once did any of it break. I will be purchasing this again
