That being said, i did compare this new one versus the 'original' factory installed water pump it replaced which had no problems but i figured after almost 25 years of service with the original one it was time to install a NEW one for the build. It has all the FORD markings my original has with just a small minor cosmetic alteration to a particular section of the casting measuring about 1.5cm's . Fitment and function were flawless. I installed it and filled the block with coolant and i have had it running several times now to get the fluids moving along.
