These are not as fancy as some brands - (Do not have the button-retractable needle safety system- so be careful!) BUT they are inexpensive, sterile and great if you need to practice placing IVs without breaking the bank!

Bought these for iv practice on dummy arm. Needles I bought from other retailers were able to be used numerous times without going dull. However, these needles are very dull. I can barely get the needle in, it takes great effort to push the tube off of the needle and the cath tends to bend up easily. These needles are just too dull and cath tube too flimsy. Not worth it. Makes my practice 100x harder than it needs to be. I would never use these needles on a real person.

These needles are garbage. They are dull and have a very rigid catheter that is not tapered and is in fact rather sharp. These needles cause excessive trauma to tissue.

These are the dullest needles known to mankind. After insertion they work properly. But there was no being able to change that they are duller than a sewing needle.
