Fishing Magnet with 1000LBS(453KG) Strong Magnet Double Sided Neodymium Magnet Fishing Kit Pulling Force with 20m (65 Foot) Durable Rope and Protective Gloves

I ordered this kit yesterday, it arrived today. I assembled the magnet with the hardware provided. The first cast and I started to retrieve it. It was only in around 4 feet of water. It started to pull something to the surface and I thought I lost my catch. No.... The magnet came apart and I was not able to access the water to retrieve the magnet. It was very disappointing as I was on my way to pick my son up from school so we could start this new hobby together. But I figured I would sneak in a cast knowing he would take it over as soon as he could get his hands on it.

This magnet is strong... So strong that I got it stuck to another magnet and can't use it LOL. Would recommend.

It can not have 700lbs of pulling force in my opinion, maybe with set conditions but I doubt it when it has problems even picking up a kids bike. The other two I purchased of a different brand seemed to have a better force which were rated at only 500lbs. The good about it is it does pick things out of the water and it works. I’d also like to note where we were fishing it had a rock bed, the other two magnets cracked to where this one did not. These magnets should be all priced around 20$ in my opinion but they are great starters and if you are fishing with kids like myself they work perfectly.

I went out magnet fishing all day for two days and didn’t get anything! I decided to test out the magnet and how good it holds onto an item while i pull it in. I put a small piece of wire in the sand in the water towards the shore line and walked about 6-7 feet up the shoreline and I threw the magnet past it and started to pull it in. I saw the magnet grabbed the wire but after about 5ft of pulling on the sand the wire broke loose. I paid extra for the 1000 pound pull magnet and this is what I get. I can’t return it because they include a small bottle of thread lock which is apparently flammable so I can’t return the package and get my money back.

The magnet is weak doesn’t work only thing nice about this is the box it came in that’s all

Magnet is NOT 1000lb, NOT 500lb, I doubt it even has 50lbs of magnetic pull. The rope & hook are decent, and the ends are done nicely but please this magnet will barly pick up a bolt off the floor.

Item shipped fast and was received in good condition. It definitely isn't 1000lbs holding force. Still a strong magnet though. I'll try to remember to update the review after taking it out a few times.

Nice fishing magnet... don’t get this thing near any metal you don’t want it to stick to.. the only problem is where to store it where it won’t stick to everything
