Side split after 6 months, split is 5 inches long and growing. Tried Product Support no contact possible on website. Buy if you must but for the price its money wasted for 6 months use. After suffering stroke I was left paralysed from the right. This is such a great piece of equipment, very easy to fit and helps me to sit on and get up.

This is very good product especially for disable and elderly people.It comes with plastic fixings which are very easy to attach to the toilet seat riser and which supports the side of the riser from sliding eather way.The seat riser is heavy. It's made of hard sponge like materials (black part) and plastic (lid). The lid is very thin and has many scratches (see the image) as there wasnt any clear protective sticker on it (maybe manufacturer should include it for the future?). The black seat feels comfortable, not very hard like typical seat.Fixings need to be attached to bottom of the seat riser first, then when we put it on the proper toilet seat, then we can tighten up the knobs to secure the riser to the toilet seat.Mine toilet is ideal size for this seat riser. Its oval in shape as shown on the nearly last photo.The size is 36cm across (sorry for upside down photo) in the maximum wide place. The fixings will be mounted in a bit back place of the toilet where size is 35cm. Measure your toilet before ordering this seat, as it may not be suitable for different seat size or shape.The front 'lip' of the riser is catching edge of the toilet so we can be assured that seat riser will not slide backward. That's very good.I would give it 5 stars if both parts of this seat riser were in the same colour and if the fixings were made of metal, means would be much stronger. These fixings given, are strong so far but if this seat will be used for bigger person, the fixings may often come undone and eventually may break.. This seat can support a person up to 130kg/ 330lb. It also should be disinfected after each use and its suggested to use this seat only for one person, for hygienic reasons.
