The book looks very cute from what I can see of it. The person that delivered it out it by the front door that we never use even though we frequently get deliveries & have asked for items to be left by back french doors. It rained for days & I didn't know it was out there. Cover fell off book & several pages stuck together. Of course not sellers fault. I had the boy version of book for my son & he loved it hence my buying it for my daughter that why I give it 4 stars bcz I think it would be as good.

We got this book for my 19month old who is beginning the potty training process. She loves it and has me read it over and over, saying, "Uh-oh! Pee-pees!" when we read about 'accidents', as well as patting her head - then mine - each time we get to the part where the girl's little sister likes to put the undies on her head. I'll be using the book to introduce my daughter's big girl undies and potty training process to parallel the little girl's process in the book.If your child is also familiar with Karen Katz' work, she/he may also try to lift the flaps that aren't there, but my daughter got over not having any flaps to flip after the first few reads.

Great (non-lift-the-flap) for bigger girls farther along in potty training process- A Potty for Me! is better for just starting
Bought for my 17 month old as we have been signing "Potty," "Pee" and "Poop" for a long time to her and she is really starting to sit on the potty. I would recommend this for older kids however who have mostly undergone real potty training. It is not a typical Karen Katz lift the flap book, though the image on the front is a fabric/feely. This book is more about what happens after the diaper has been ditched. I'm definitely looking forward to reading it with my daughter when we are much further along in the potty process so I really recommend it for that. But If you're looking for one for just starting/approaching the idea of potty training, the Karen Katz A Potty For Me! (lift the flap) instruction book is just perfect and I HIGHLY recommend that one.

Perfect for big sisters
This is a wonderful addition to a girl's potty training library - especially if that girl has a little sister! Fortunately for me, I purchased this for my two-year old daughter who does have a baby sister. My two-year old loves the bright illustrations and the simple text. She points to the little girl in each picture and says, "There's me". And in the one page when the little girl has an accident, my daughter says "I have an idea - why not use the potty?" It's too adorable! The reason this book is perfect for big sisters is that the narrator's little sister puts the underpants on her head and the last page states: "Someday my baby sister will be big and wear undies just like me!" Highly recommended.

Alright.
I thought this book would be more exciting. Perhaps a lift the flap book. It's cute, but it didn't hold my daughter's attention for very long.
