Boxie Premium Scented Clumping Cat Litter 30+ Day Odor Control 16 lb

I have a cat who used to come out of the litter box looking like he rolled in the snow, covered to his elbows in dust and top of his head and face covered in dust looking like he roughed a tough winter storm not to mention leaving a trail of litter all across all floors. That was while using WBCL. But this stuff is AMAZING. He actually comes out clean and the tracking was cut down by 95% ....literally!!!! It does not smell as good as WBCL, but I will still use it just because of the reductions of dust and litter. Some have also said that the clumping is not so great on Boxie, however, I find that if you do not pick it up right after they go and give it a couple hours to set, it gives good solid clumps. So all in all.. I'd say this is the best for minimal tracking which is also great for better breathing. OH... and the dust that used to track through the house with WBCL left me dusting furniture every couple of days, this no longer happens with Boxie.. I can now do a thorough dusting once a week

This has been the best cat litter by far and I have tried mini mini brands. I had to use tidy cats for years, but the smell and the sand tracking was just too much to bear so I started testing others. Pretty litter was not only too expensive, but my cats didn’t like it. They also did not like Dr. Kelsey‘s and that litter tracking was horrendous. I tried pellets, crystals, and straw. None of those work for my cats either. Then I found Boxiecat. All three cats use it consistently. The sand track but not quite as bad as tidy cat. Daily cleaning helps any odor. And it clumps really well and lasts a month where the others did not. It’s a little more pricey than tidy cat, but not much more and it’s worth it. I highly recommend this cat litter.

I really like this litter.It had great clumping power and I didn't get any bad smells off of it. Some of the cheaper ones like tidy cats. Don't really hold in that strong cat. Urine smell after even a day of changing it

I really think we have a winner with this one! I was using Dr. Elsey's for nearly a year but it seemed like it wasn't doing the job as it had in the beginning for me. Excuse me--for US. Kitty is a big boy with a big bladder and large sized poops. We have an XL box and even keeping that filled enough is hard with all the scooping needed. Since these litters are expensive--I want us BOTH to love the litter. Dr. Elsey's was breaking apart on the urine clumps and I couldn't scoop out the little bits. I was so frustrated with the stinky aroma all the time. I don't want all those un-scoopable bits hanging around in the box any more than kitty does. The litter wasn't doing a good job of drying the poo or covering the smells... I know Unscented is the safest for their kidneys--so I started looking for options. After about two hours of review reading on Amazon, I ordered Boxiecat. Right away kitty was into it and he'd spend a while checking it out. I mixed the old brand with this for a month but it was clear that kitty wanted this Boxiecat. He actually gets crazy into it and I practically have to lock the supply away from him. What I like best is the litter's clumping. It really does what that demo said: the urine will form a sort of ball shape with a flat top--IF you keep a high level of this litter in the box. When you have a giant cat peeing out a lot--you need a thick layer to hold all that fluid so it doesn't puddle at the box bottom. If the fool pees in that corner or up against the edge then you have to deal with some sludge on occasion. This litter is great at absorption though for my money and the poops that he actually covers do get dessicated. That means less stinky poo events. With Dr. Elsey's, he'd drive me out of the room with a stinker. Trust me, I appreciate being able to roll over and go to sleep and not have to get out of bed, throw open a window and leave the room until I could tolerate breathing in there, long enough to scoop--and then return to bed. Another bonus is the grains are a good size and he doesn't seem to get the litter stuck to his paws that often anymore. If your kitty has tufted paws--you know how hard that is. And fluffy paws means throwing litter around-- and when it does get outside the box--it's not usually as much as the old brand. It's slightly lighter weight for the equivalent also. I dunno if anyone else has this issue with this brand...Sometimes he gets the bucket that I store the litter in, moved a few feet away--trying like mad to get the bucket open and to get at the litter. He's big and very strong so even stacking heavy stuff on top of the bucket doesn't deter the efforts. You'd think it was a bucket of cat treats the way he goes after this litter. He's so happy! Totally worth it for that kinda kitty approval. He's 2 now and he's never liked any the others this much.

Nice product but the corners of the bag are so sharp it can cut your skin. I no longer purchase this.

WOW! I was apprehensive about this litter for the cost of subscription is just under $18, but I am glad I did. *Zero dust! (says 99.9% dust-free... I don't see any) *Zero smell! Not scented at all. *I have been using it for a month now, Zero smell of urine! *Clumps fast! *Clumps do not break! *I have an Automatic Litter box, and this is PERFECT!! The Directions suggest 3" depth but my Automatic Box only allows 1.5 inches. Even at that shallow depth there is ZERO wet stuff or sticking of anything on the bottom of the box! ** 16 pound bag will last me at least 2 months, cutting the cost of this item in half. I have one cat. This is the first litter I have ever tried that does not create huge urine balls that break up and/or it does not seep down to the bottom of the box and create a mess. I was surprised and very happy to see that I could use the maximum amount of 1.5 inches in the automatic box without mess or headache. Since using it, about 4 weeks, I have only needed to add litter weekly to replenish what is scooped out. Still zero smell in litter box. The only smell is when kitty is doing her poo...at the moment, but it fades quickly and the smell disappears. UPDATE: I have been using this for about 7 months now. I ran out once and decided to use up the other litter that I had for the automatic box. What a HUGE disappointment!!! With the other stuff that claimed to be the Best I had a huge clump of nastiness on the bottom pan, which required a thorough scrubbing as well as my room stunk. I decided that here on out... this is the only brand for me! I must admit I am disappointed the price has gone up but at $20 I still believe this is the litter I have ever used.

I have two elderly cats who have to go to the bathroom a lot. I buy the unscented litter and I have a subscription now because I NEVER want to run out of this stuff ever again!! Boxie cat is totally revolutionary! I’ve never seen anything like it. Not sure how they do it, but this litter makes the nastiest chore a zillion times easier. Cleaning the cat box has become a new experience. I’ve been “doing” cat boxes all my life and I have never EVER had the Boxie Cat experience before. I’m not exaggerating. It doesn’t become clay-like and stick to the bottom and sides of the box when it’s wet, it clumps beautifully, there’s literally no dust and very little tracking. And it’s soft and it’s clean.! My cats seem pleased with it as well. I’ve written quite a few reviews, but this review is my most sincere. I have never been so pleased with any product I’ve ever bought on Amazon before - it’s worth every penny! it’s like night and day. There is “kitty litter” and then there’s Boxie Cat wow. If you are on the fence about whether or not you should pay more for a bag of sand for cats to do their business in? I hope I’ve convinced you to buy because this stuff is legendary

This is an amazing product! I have two older male cats (both neutered) who have gotten progressively smellier as time goes on. Keeping the house smelling ok was a TRIAL. Also both my boys have different allergy issues so I was worried about trying something new. I tried multiple types of litters but nothing really took away the smell. But this helped SO much. Its heavy and super absorbant which honestly was exactly what I was looking for. I go through about the same amount as previous litter brands for MUCH less smell in my house. This hasn't caused an allergic reaction and does well to clump together and keep the smell somewhat contained. This is the only litter I use now.

Doesn’t perform better than other brands

Hands down the bets cat litter you can get. Im always in the market to help my kitties feel their best and cat litter is no where to look away from. My favorite thing about this litter is that it is pretty much dust free. Granted you're always going to have a little but its barely any. Extremely easy to scoop out and doesn't smell like anything. I will continue to buy Boxie Cat, cat litter for the foreseeable future. Thanks!

My cat has been having litter tray issues with part anxiety & part balance with a bad back leg. This litter seems more comfortable for his paws than worlds best stuff I’ve always used. Low dust etc too for sure. Down side is, this is ridiculously expensive & the fact this small bag is the only one available on Amazon. So, Boxiecat, please provide the more economical bigger bags with sub&save option. Then provide the other varieties, without the absurd shipping cost you expect us to pay them wait for because it’s coming from the USA. We’re buying cat litter here not diamond chipping’s.

This cat litter has been GREAT for us! We have 3 cats and this is the 1st litter I've found that actually does everything it promises to do. If I scoop it every day/every other day, it lasts a loooong time and that is very unusual with any litter we've tried, especially with having 3 of the little booger heads using it. 🐈 😻 🐈‍⬛️ 🐈‍⬛️ I've never seen cats actually REACT to a bag of cat litter before but our cats LOVE 😻 this stuff! They all come running when I open the bag of litter and they wanna smell it and touch it before I pour it into their litter box, lol. One day right after I filled the litter box with fresh litter (before any of them used it), I found my cat on his hind legs, holding on to the litter box with one arm/paw and pushing around and playing with the litter with the other paw 🐾. I don't know specifically what excites them about it, other than liking clean litter obviously, but they get excited, which they did NOT do with any other litter we've ever used. I also really love that even with the litter being UNSCENTED, I never smell that ammonia-pee smell in the mornings when I come out of my room, which tends to happen with other litters (even if they ARE "scented"), especially being in a smaller home or an apartment. We're in an apartment with 3 cats so it makes a HUGE difference! I highly recommend this stuff! It may SEEM to cost more than some other litters at first, but when you see how great it is and how long it lasts, you'll see that it's actually LESS expensive than other litters. And more than anything, my cats reactions to it EVERY time I open a bag of it... is almost the same as when I shake their little bags of treats, so that tells me I'm definitely using the right stuff. Can't hurt to try it... that's how I looked at it the 1st time I ordered it, bc that is the best way to find out... and now here I am telling everyone else that they should definitely at least TRY it.

Not sure what's the rave about this litter. Tracing all over, sticks to paws like glue, if the cat steps on the wet patch. Ok, it clumps well and is economical but NO. Not worth the money
