Review: All around excellent! - The price, the quality, balance, and the sharpness of this blade is incredible. Used during a camping trip when we forgot our chairs, was able to create a stable and strong bench using it and a couple other hand tools. This thing is handy also for skimming bark off trees, and we also used it to make hot dog and stores sticks as well as skewers for our kabobs. The sheath is nice as well, it hangs on the side of my Military issued ACU MOLLE ii rucksack on the opposite side as my pistol. The comfort and size of the handle is meant for long term use and durable. I took off the wrist rope, as I felt it got in the way more than helped, but it isn't a bad feature to have for safety all in all. Will recommend to anyone looking for a machete, this can do it all. My GF is assembling her bugout bag similar to mine and I will be sure she is well informed about this product. The image shows our bushcraft bench we made using this and a cheap foldable saw I got from a local hardware store.
Review: Great chopping kukri! - I had purchased one of these a few years ago, but I handed it off to one of my grandsons. So I had to grab another, it’s an awesome knife for the price. To me it’s a little short to be a machete for field grass, but it makes for an excellent chopper and camp knife. Will easily clear branches and other woody brush, and it’s easily toted on field hikes. Sharp out of the box, and the sheath is functional and easy to carry. Good steel.

**Q: Blade thickness?  the listed answer of 3mm or 3/16" is nonsense. those are 2 very different thicknesses.  measure it with calipers.  no bs.**
A: Sorry about that Martin, it is 3mm - I converted the fraction wrong, 3mm is about 1/8 (not 3/16) of an inch.
