Worked great for my kevlar boot laces. Cut them 3/4" long and put them on ends of laces. Heated with lighter while spinning the lace around, to heat shrink evenly. They heat shrink very quick. They could maybe make them a little thicker. Besides that, they work great.

I used these on my shoe lace ends that frayed. It worked perfectly and now i can rethread my laces through the lace holes

I had never heard of shrink tubing until I was looking for ways to secure my Coach bag hangtags. I’ve had some close calls with losing them and they can be hard to replace, so I started to take them off and store them rather than risk losing them. Shrink tubing has been a game changer! It’s so easy to apply - you just cut it to size and then blow dry it to shrink it around the ball chain. And it is incredibly secure - I wanted to move one of my hangtags to a different spot on my bag and it took quite a bit of effort to cur the shrink tube off! I no longer worry about my hangtags falling off and fully enjoy my bags.

Doesn’t shrink all the way down on ends of shoe strings or any strings on clothes. Fixes temporary, but they end up sliding off.

Great variety of sizes and being clear does not take away from any cosmetic needs.

For the electronics work I do, heatshrink is a luxury that I don’t always have. These are the first clear heatshrink I’ve ever used so I was eager to see how they looked. It pays to be neat with any joins they cover. Also, be a little extra careful if you use a lighter to heat these up. I got a little too close a few times and it discolored the plastic - just like any other heatshrink, but since these are clear it’s more noticeable. All in all, I love the assortment, convenient lengths, and case to hold them all tidy.
