Excellent quality blades with one minor caveat
These are excellent quality blades which work great in the original X-acto handles. However, word to the wise, because of a -very- slight difference in blade height, they will NOT retract into the X-acto X3204 retractable knife handle. Not a big deal, as I have other handles I will use them with, but just wanted to let everyone know.

The best blades
I go through hundreds of blades a month with my artwork and have used xacto blades for years. They used to be good, but the quality of them has gone down drastically (made in China…) You never know what you’re going to get. The “blue” ones are the worst, but you never know what’s in the box. The tips bend (which is the worst!) or just simply break way too easily. That being said, I decided to try the Excel blades and am very pleasantly surprised. They are somewhat heavier and a lot more durable. They stay sharp much longer and I have yet to have a tip break. I’m sold and will continue to use them. Plus, they are manufactured in the US.

They worked well for my task, but 1 blade had a bent tip from shipping
I ordered a hobby knife and the tip arrived curled/bent, so I bought this 5 pack of blades. One of these blades had a bent tip from shipping as well.Still 4 good blades, and I was able to complete the job.I don't know why companies think they can just put their blades in a tube and think it will not move around and slam against the cap in shipping and not become damaged.I have ordered other blades that arrived safely, and what they did was put the blades in a very small plastic bag which - between the air in the bag and the seals on the end of the bag, added a lot of cushion to the tube it shipped in.I would probably still order these gain because I know what to expect and the blades themselves seem good. My first time using a hobby knife, really, but I was able to cut some circles with them and finish my project.

Who knew??
I make custom designed switch and outlet plates. I use different types of paper and after covered in several layers of glue (mod podge or similar), I cut the openings out with a craft knife. I've used xacto brand forever! I never knew there could be something better! I saw this brand while looking for a bulk amount of blades. I was looking for bulk because I was going through one blade every 3 to 4 plates! I could make them go further, but the cuts just wouldn't be as sharp as I liked and it would take me longer to complete since a had to go back and cut off the little paper "fuzzies" left behind! I decided, after reading a ton of glowing reviews, to purchase a pack of 5. After using two blades, I immediately ordered this pack! These are so much better than those "other" blades I've been using!! They last twice as long for me and the cuts are razor sharp. These will save me time and money, and isn't that what we all want?? Buy these blades and stop wasting money with the popular brand!!

Best Blade Ever
Most of these #11 blades are now made in China, even Exacto and they are mostly trash. I'm not sure what process they use but seem to always end up with an inferior product. Finally Excel makes a blade I can love, these are the best I've found, made in USA, they cut like a dream. Forget the others, I've tried them all.

Excellent, high quality blades
These are razor sharp and I've been happily surprised by their ability to retain an edge. But even more than that, what truly impresses me is their ability to retain their tip.I've used X-Acto brand #11 blades exclusively since the 1980s, and I'd just come to accept that for normal use they would lose their edge within a few days, and the fine tip would snap off within the first few hours no matter how much care was taken. These blades seem to be considerably less brittle and are able to flex rather than break, yet they don't take a set and will return to their original shape. And they manage it without sacrificing overall sharpness or their ability to keep an edge. That they're also considerably less expensive is a wonderful bonus. In short, these are superior in every possible way.
