Sounds good through FX loop or in front of Amp. Active and Passive pickups sound good and clear. Built in noise gate works great for high gain. Currently running 9v. Will try the 18v soon enough. Used through a blackstar ht 60 stage tube amp. Currently running, Syemour Duncan Livewire, SD-Nazgul, and SD-Black Winter pickups and all sound amazing.Have not tried through my solid state amp or with any other pedals. But standalone allows you dial the tone you want.
