Good value
One key has a great spring the other is ok but not like the strong one. I got the keys cut and the program easy and haven't had a problem so far

Worth it for sure!
This worked for my 2014 Chevy Equinox and my wife's 2014 Equinox too. She doesn't have the auto hatch back, so one less button version. Easy to assemble. BUT, a bit of a challenge to demo the existing, original, key fob. I used a Dremel to cut away and break the fob in pieces so as not to crack the existing electronics board. Not impossible and well worth the gamble of trying out a $12 potential solution. Just be patient. Still only took about 45 minutes taking my time. Oh, I also ordered a $12 punch kit. Well worth the added cost in ease and time savings.

Works Perfect
Excellent replacement for 2012 Chevy Cruze. I was able to remove the keyed blade from the old key and install it into this one, so I did not need to take the new key in to have it cut. There is a you tube video which shows you how to do this.

Doesn’t work
I purchased this fob for a 2016 Chevy Cruze. I went to a certified dealership and had the key cut and programmed. The buttons did not work!! You had to press the buttons multiple times to get them to work. I ended up having to buy a key fob from the dealership and now out $200!

Super Easy Programing, Poorly Made
The buttons on this unit feel incredibly cheap and not durable enough to last. Now the user manual says get a professional to program and that is silly. It is so easy to do yourself. Now it requires you cut the key to program it. However there is a work around. You cover your existing key in tin foil so that the car can not read that sensor when your go through the programing steps. You can place this remote next to the existing key covered in tin foil. The car will read the new key and not the existing key. This is a great way to make sure it works before spending the money to have it cut. This tip will make more sense if you watch the YouTube programming tutorials.

Not Quite as Easy as Videos
Seems to be a good product. I used side cutters to carefully cut apart my damaged fob after breaking the case halfway. Seems to have been glued together. And like some people I had to knock out the little roll pin with tiny drill bit and switch key ends as my old stuff would not lock properly. Still with a little patience this is a great solution.
