VIKING Culinary Professional 5-Ply Nonstick Fry Pan, 12 inch, Dishwasher, Oven Safe, Works on All Cooktops including Induction

I was looking for a professional grade nonstick pan that could be used on an induction cooktop. I found the Viking professional grade 10 inch pan and I’ve had it for almost a year. I have cooked on it many many times and the pan cooks evenly, cleans up very easily ( I only use the “green/yellow” scrub sponges to clean the pan) and is made very well. I only use silicone spatulas and cooking utensils with this pan and I have been so impressed with the pain that I recently ordered the 12 inch professional as well. I have not experienced any flaking or chipping of the non stick surface and the pan performs as advertised.

Got as a gift for Christmas. High quality stainless outside with a durable teflon coating that is truly non stick. My husband prefers this pan over all of the calphalon pans that we own. We hand wash and do not use any metal when cooking but no scratches and very easy clean up. I own 4 viking pans and love them all!!

Pans developed a manufacturing flaw (bubbling coating). Manufacturer won't honor "lifetime" warranty they claim for this "professional product".Coupled with only mediocre performance, cannot recommend

I purchased this 4 years ago to be my one final and done set of pans. I noticed it beginning to peel on the edge about 2 years ago, but had not flaked off. Now it's simply lifting off the pan's edge. The interior of the pan heats up fine and is still intact. But the added flecks of nonstick in the food is not acceptable.Waiting now to see what Viking will say re: their limited warranty.At a final cost of $237.88 that averages to be $59.50 a year. Not so sure it's all that great of a value.
