What I was looking for
Just restarted my exercise program and needed a log. This journal is perfect. I can track my macros, measurements, workouts and servings of fruits and veggies among other things. If you need an overall well being journal, this is it. I highly recommend this journal. It will help you stay focused and help you track your progress. 5 stars

High quality and beautifully functional!
I love this journal - I was surprised at the quality of it all. The pages are so nice and thick and ink does not bleed through. There is space to track about everything you could think of when tracking your fitness and food goals. I love the pocket in back and that it has 13 dot-grid pages in the back for notes, affirmations or whatever! It's a beautiful amber color. The cover is beautifully embossed and has a sheen to it, so it is not matte. Love that it has a pen loop and elastic closure. It's the perfect size to drop in your bag. Just love it!

Can we have a larger version?
Out of all the diet and fitness journals that I have found this one has been the best so far. It is very sturdy, and can deal with being opened numerous times of the day for recording information. In the back there is a place to record common products that you consume, and even more empty pages in the back for either further product information or notes that you may have taken from a doctor's visit.I like all of the different boxes for dietary information that is important to record (moods for the day, energy levels, how much water intake), however that also comes with some frustrations.I wish the journal was larger. I understand that the size that it currently is in is perfect purse size, but I would prefer more room to write down little days activities that I have done throughout. Playing with the dog and what not.There is no place to record bedtimes, and quality of sleep. Those are important for the weight loss journey (as I have recently discovered), and need to be recorded somewhere.There is no place to record heart rates! I need a place to record my heart rates, low, high, and average!I would love a separate area to record my steps. Though I suppose I could just record those down in the cardio box, I often don't think of my steps AS cardio. Instead I see them as how much I moved throughout the day. I like to see them as a sign of what happened throughout the day. Because let's be honest, there are days you move all the time, and days you hibernate! I would like to see that at a quick glance.Intensity minutes for the day and the week should be on the main calendar (such as a small box for you to record them in), or also at the top of the page to look at and record. I was told that I need to start aiming for 150 minutes a week. So, I now have started to record those on the left hand page as well.I know I have stated a lot of what I WANT and what the journal SHOULD have, but I honestly do LIKE this book. It is one of the few that allows for such note taking freedom. It allows me to record my meals and snacks, with a little time slot on the side of the box (which my dietician loved to see btw), and it allows me a spot at the bottom to write a sentence or two of what happened during the day and something positive.I do hope that they make a larger version of this journal with the added suggestions. Until then, yes, I will purchase another copy.

Good choice, from a Planner-Lover!
I am getting back in the groove of life after some pits & valleys. I chose this planner for some guidance and accountability to help me.The downside: It is only 3 months' worth of recordings, so I ordered 4 so that I can have an entire year.A color for Winter, a color for Spring, a color for Summer, and a color for Fall. I did not want to do this, as it gets pricey; however, I ordered approx. 20 planners twds the end of this year (2023) so that I could compare them all *in person* to see what actually would fit my needs. After taking my time comparing them in great detail, I decided to keep this Clever Fox Fitness & Food Journal 2nd Edition, as it allows me to record meal plans, workout details, weight, sleep, gratitude, moods, etc. I am looking fwd to 2024 using these 4 Clever Fox journals I ordered. The overall cover (front and back) is super sturdy. And the colors are beautiful! Again, down side is price for only 3 months.

Clever fox never fails
I have loved every single product I’ve bought from clever fox and this one is exactly the same. I love the layout of the item, the texture, the information, the pages, and the stickers! It’s a really good tool to log nutrition and fitness without the hassle of memory. I log everything into my phone at the gym, then transfer the info to this journal! I love having this journal so much! The prompts and agendas it gives you is just absolutely phenomenal

Great In Nearly Every Way
This journal is great in almost every way - it provides clear space to track all kinds of data you might want to track during a health-improvement journey.The cons are relatively minor in the grand scheme of things:1. There are three bookmark strings attached to the spine which makes it easy to flip between relevant sections, but a fourth would allow marking *all* of the important sections you might want to swap between (minor!)2. This one irks me more... On the exercise tracking page for each day, I'd say about 3/4 of it is for weights and that tracking covers the entire width of the page (this is great for weight tracking, truly); however, the cardio section is TINY - the lines are smaller so you have to write smaller, the space in each box is microscopic compared to the weight section, and then the whole cardio box only gets half the width of the page and MAYBE 1/4 height of the page (if that). I have small handwriting and can still barely fit the data into that section that I want to record. If it even just spanned the whole width of the page and the boxes were bigger, it would be better - as is, I have to go over into the random dot section that takes up the other half of that area to actually record my data.I do overall enjoy the journal, but I might reconsider getting it again because of this oversight that just doesn't fully meet my needs.

Perfect for Progress tracking
This brand is incredible and I highly recommend this journal to anyone trying to go on a fitness journey.

Great quality
This product has a beautiful engraved cover, not 1 but 3 place markers, a band to keep the book closed, pen slot, stickers and a quick start guide!The pages are nice and thick and I found that there was adequate space for information. It gives you a starting page for all your starting measurements and spot for a photo. A page for you to put in 5 goals. A calendar for each month with plenty of space to write in days and a side bar for notes. It also has a section for important goals for the month as well as things to do better. You get monthly review pages to input current vs prior month measurements and a photo as well as how I feel about myself area. Further into the book you have pages to record each exercise their weight and reps up to 6 sets as well as a daily food tracker with macros in put. It also gives a small space for mood, energy, activity, and a few other things. In the back of the book there is a quick macros page to fill in as well as 2 pages of 20 items to track with 14 weeks of tracking.The last pages are some blank pages you can use for whatever.Great quality, love this product and cannot wait to start using it
