Oakland Living 2-Level Plant Stand

I had reviewed this product on a number of sites, and had read that Oakland Living plant stands were manufactured in Michigan. Unfortunately, this was made in China. If I had been aware that this was made in China, I would not have purchased this.One of the earlier reviews noted that the instructions were in French. The only instructions in my box was a diagram - no text.After spending close to an hour trying to assemble this, I realized that the top shelf and the bottom shelf cannot be the same size.Also, two of the slotted screws were warped such that a nut could not be threaded onto the screw.Otherwise, if I had seen this fully assembled at a garden center, I would not purchase this plant stand. I do not expect to pay $125 for a plant stand with exposed screws/nuts/washers.I am returning the plant stand.

This is a sturdy well made stand of cast iron. It is heavy & stable & works well outside. It was easy to put together but my husband did have to sand the base a bit to even it out so it doesn't wobble. He also painted it white to match our Victorian style house. Yes it was made in China, for this price you won't get cast iron pieces made elsewhere. And as is the norm nowadays, buy some quality hardware, don't use the parts included. Both shelves have plenty of room for plants or candles or whatever you want to put on it. It gives me a vintage look beside my front door at a price I could afford.

If the manufacturer would just do a little qc and spec build these they would be a real winner. We bought 3 and like the looks but nothing is cast to a spec. Pre mounted studs pointing and every different angle, nothing falls together, ( had to bend studs to fit shelves in), and when all assembled legs are not even so either live with rocking table or place 1/2" shim under one leg.Look good, pitifull manufacture

Love the look of the table. Threaded holes for stud bolts were drilled and tapped at wrong angle to allow the shelves to fit into the side frame. Manufacturer needs to improve drilling jigs to insure holes will line up with bolts/studs. Like I said earlier, the stand itself is a good looking cast iron plant stand.

Using inside as a plant stand, so can’t attest to outdoor elements. But Good size for my window. Adds some elegance with scroll and bronze. Sturdy with only a very, very slight wobble. But once plants were on, all good.

The instruction with this product were in French. I an not very good at assembly of products, but can usually follow instructions. I called the company and although they were sympathetic, they never got back to me about sending the instructions in English. The stand is pretty heavy so it is awkward to put together. I finally got a friend to help me and we finally figured out how to put it together. I did not send it back because it is heavy to carry. It is a nice looking piece, but I would not buy it again.

Like the antique look of the planter.Planter itself is sturdy. However as I read in another review, the legs are uneven so had to put a little rug under 1 leg to level.Was worth having to level planter myself as Amazon price less than stores.

This is the exact perfect size for outside my front door for me to put my purse on as I put the keys in the front door lock. And it’s very good quality
