It isas bright as my flashlight when I go to change batteries. ALSO, the battery compartment cover is held down by two screws. The screws are so tiny I have to use a jewelry screwdriver. Glad it was magnetic otherwise I would have to use tweezers to pick up the screws. The movement sensor is the best feature. It does not go on when there is a decent amount of light. We have this one lighting the porch steps. We'll get another to illuminate the door as we unlock it. It swivels and rotates and is easy to mount, with various methods for mounting. The motion sensor works great. And they activate only in total darkness. When the corridor light is turned on these idiots won't activate. Oh, the sticker installation method is a joke - they fell multiple times already. But great build quality - I give them that. They completely came apart after falling from 6 feet but I put them together and they started working again.
