Was between this one and the  Photive CYREN  (available for same price at another site). Decided to give it a shot based on the reviews and the design.The Good:+ Very compact. We're talking the size of a Fabergé egg or one of those plastic Easter eggs.+ Solid feel. Has a decent amount of weight and heft, not going to knock over easily and break.+ Clean design. Looks well-machined and has that intangible "quality" feel to it.+ Decent sound. For something this small with only 2x3W drivers, it puts out pretty good sound without going too tinny.The Bad:- Finicky with connection. I've paired it to both my Macbook Air and smartphone, but sometimes I have to refresh the connection in order to actually get it going. Since this is happening on 2 separate devices when the other one's Bluetooth is off, I'm chalking it up to the speaker.- Static/feedback. Most of the time the audio is crisp and clean, but every now and then you hear some static in the back, like if you're listening to your car radio and drive into a tunnel.- Sound isn't GREAT. For a $25 speaker you can hold in one hand it's good, but if you want high-fidelity reproduction then you should look elsewhere.All in all, I'm modestly satisfied. If the static issue persists I may send it back for an exchange, but otherwise it lives up to the price tag. You're trading off sound for portability, so if you don't plan on moving much then you should invest in a larger but more powerful system.Battery life claims to be 5 hours, haven't been able to test it yet. Charges through micro-USB (comes with a micro-USB to USB cable), so you can plug it into your laptop or a wall if you have a USB-wall adapter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Functional speaker for low cost *by T***M on Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2014* Nice little speaker for the money. I had some difficulty syncing with a galaxy s2 and galaxy s4. Needed to hold the phone basically touching the speaker and took a few attempts to sync even at close range.Does automatically pair with both phones which is nice once initially setup.Sound quality is OK in the low-mid volume range. I am not an audiophile so can't provide much meaningful feedback other than when the volume is maxed the sound breaks up and is pretty awful. I wonder why the manufacturers don't limit volume output to a range that sounds good for the device.I plan on using this with an SD card while fishing so i don't have to have two charged devices to listen to music. Have tested this out and works fine.Have not tested microphone functionality. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Build is good, dropouts are annoying *by J***O on Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2014* The speaker pairs quickly enough though a little slower than a Logitech device I have. Volume is good from the stereo transducers, but the problem is the device drops out considerably more often than other Bluetooth devices I have. And the outdoor, clear field distance is approximately 10 feet at best. Even occasionally with an iPad at 2 feet, the device drops out for small fractions of a second. Very annoying.**Update**Customer Service has quickly contacted me explaining my unit performance is unusual and is sending a replacement unit.
