I don’t get why this couple is not mentioned enough in the other books! They are so cute and kind of crazy together!! I love the book

That was…something. It definitely felt like a roller coaster ride for me. I can’t count the many times my mood went up and down when reading this book. I mean it in a good way. I got so invested I stayed way past my bedtime and will now suffer the consequences later at work.There were parts that had been double backing (cause ABSOLUTELY NOT). I will not divulge to avoid spoilers but those feelings were thankfully settled when it got addressed and answered, cause you bet that your girl was frowning when she took “that” information in and has been frowning until I got to the “answer” for it.I also LOVE the brief appearances of past characters!Anyways, love the story and it definitely is not gonna be for some people—I can tell you that. MAKE SURE TO READ THE WARNINGS BEFORE GOING FORWARD, FELLOW READERS ♥️

The last book of this series had me on the edge of my seat. I was so stressed reading this book. Rina Kent you are an amazing author. I'm still on my journey of reading everything you've written in order. On to the next one.

I was a bit let down by this book, but I think that's more on me than anything. For me, it felt like the story was both drawn out and rushed at the same time. It's difficult to explain, really, but the second part of this duet took a lot longer to get through than the first book.Spoiler Alert! Don't read further if you don't want spoilers.Okay, you're still reading, so here I go. The way the book started right where book 1 left off was great, but then suddenly it jumped 7 years, and it felt a bit forced after that. It just didn't flow as well for me. Then, there was the cheating aspect. Sure, the marriage with Akira Mori was forced, and she was neve happy. I only did it for sebastian, which I completely understand, and I'm on her side. I wanted her and sebastian to be together, but it just didn't pull me in. I found myself skimming a lot after that. I feel like the way she escaped the Yakuza family and saved Sebastian once again happened way too quickly. Again with the rush. It just didn't seem as realistic bc those kinds of things take time to deal with.Overall I did like the story but it was probably my least favorite so far within this world. There is a lot of dark content so read the TWs if your potentially sensitive. Quite a bit of spice with fear fetish like book 1 in this duet. 18+ recommended. I really hope Kai gets a book. I loved his character.

Sebastian and Naomi are my absolute favorite couple so far in the Rina verse. Mind you I am only halfway through the Rina verse and I started from her recommended reading list so I haven't gotten to Gods yet. However I am not sure if anyone will beat Sebastian and Naomi. I do wish I got to see them as parents, but other than that this duet was amazing.

Better than book 1.Book 1 was meh but I was curious and I wanted to see where all of this was going. Glad I stuck around coz book 2 is more entertaining, hilarious really.It genuinely adds to the story and wraps everything up nicely.Not a fan of the epilogues but they do bring the story full circle.If you get through book 1, this will be a breeze.

This series sent me for a whirlwind. I hope everyone finds their person just like Sebastian and Naomi.Make sure to check those trigger warnings. This series is dark. It did not disappoint.The spicyness is a 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

Loved the female character, how she talked was funny, I found myself smiling while reading thisI read the Akira part fast because I didn’t care for it, when I stopped thinking he was (you know), but know I have to go and re read them

I Read This Book Twice and Listened to the AudiobookThis couple that in the beginning didn't give much importance but I was surprised with them.i love them so much yes i cried at the wedding scene because it was so heartbreaking i was rooting for them so much, yes i love them.let's start the review.In the beginning it is pain and suffering we have them in the cell which is terrible but what I found most beautiful was the marriage proposal.the scene they break it's so sad i just wanted to hug seb. then 7 years pass and we see sebastian sad and he became a lawyer.we have the reunion with more chemistry this couple is very cute i love them.But it's sad to see how much seb is brokenMy Naomi she's the one who's had to fight all this time to keep her love alive and protect her sister.i hate naomi's dad i hate him.the scene where he asks her to stay and she leaves and he himself with a broken heart doesn't accept and kidnaps her, shows how much this man does everything for this woman.i love them the ending is beautiful and as i said i was thrilled with the wedding.

This book is soo underrated honestly I loved every seccond of this book honestly it was amazing and I needed more …. This books was just everything I ever asked for and honestly I couldn’t put it down once I started this …. The emotional rollercoaster I had while reading it aswell omg

As always, Rina never fails to pull the surprise factor and leave me breathless, this wasn't the exception!!I had many theories, yet,l I was shook to find put all the plot twists the story has. As for the plot it was good, maybe not her best story, but again it was great thanks to the twists and turns. As for the characters, I'm excited for all the upcoming stories that are coming!! The few glimpses certain characters had, were enough to make me eager to meet them.Now towards the relationship, I think I expected better. Like the second half to the end, everything was conveniently solved out quite easily and that's the only thing I didn't like much.But overall, it was a good entertaining story from the start to the last. Go check the duet if you are looking for a different NA/adult romance to read!!
