I recently purchased the CXWXC Adjustable MTB 31.8mm 70 Degree - 145mm stem for my Aventon Level 2, and I must say, it has been a game-changer for my riding experience. This stem fit my bike with a minor modification, making it the perfect height to raise the handlebar almost 3 inches without the need to replace any wires. The installation process was relatively straightforward, with the only hiccup being the remounting of the headlight. The CXWXC mount where the existing light mount attaches was slightly larger, requiring me to make a small adjustment. I ended up cutting one of the mounting holes off the light mount to allow it to snug up to the new stem mount. To secure everything in place, I used two of the original short bolts to attach the handlebar to the stem and one of the new long bolts to attach the light mount onto the 4th hole of the stem. Despite this minor inconvenience, the end result was well worth it. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the CXWXC Adjustable MTB stem. It has provided me with the perfect height adjustment I needed while maintaining the integrity of my bike's existing components. If you're looking to upgrade your ride and enhance your comfort level, I highly recommend giving this stem a try.

Due to a wrist injury, I could no longer tolerate the straight-forward 105mm bar riser on my mtn bike. This looked like a potential solution, so I ordered it. I didn't know what to expect, but it is a VERY sturdy, nicely-adjustable (with serrated engagement to prevent slippage or movement of your setting), good-looking part. It absolutely does the job and has no flex that I can notice. I have it set on the tallest possible orientation and it makes a world of difference. Installs in minutes. It's heavier than a hollow piece of aluminum, but is a huge bargain for this price. You will not be disappointed. Note: be sure you check/set your steering head play after install as you will likely remove the top cap on your steering stem during install.

Works great with that modern look!

This was used to replace the bike stem on a Walmart-Branded Concord 700c Axia road bike. I replaced the stem within 10 minutes and brought it 70-degrees higher, with about a 4.5" rise. My daughter and I went out on a ride together. Well worth it! Instead of the flat stem that was too low, and too far forward, she was able to raise her seat and sit upright! She was able to enjoy the ride, without being slouched over, with the bike-stem and seat-post too low. Well worth the investment! I even took it for a spin myself!

31.8mm X 70 fits perfectly on my Ozark Trail G1 (v2) drop bar and aluminum fork without any additional shims. Heavy stem but good quality. The easy adjustability is perfect!

Made MTN bike more comfortable

Why mountain bikes have to have handle bars so weirdly positioned is beyond me. The purists won’t like this adaptation, but, I bike 🚲 a lot of miles and don’t want to be bent over double, so I purchased this, my back is soooo much better and I’m sitting in a more human like way on my bike. Great quality, easy fit, game changer, excellent 👌

A truly impressive piece of kit, especially for the price. Installed as easy and sturdily as the stock one, and the height adjustment radically improved the comfort of my Montague folding bike which isn't made in as large a frame size as I would have liked to have bought. Verifying the size of the fork tube and the handle bars before ordering is easily done with a cheap vernier caliper. The only wrinkle of note is that the part of this stem that clamps to the fork tube was shorter than my stock one, so I needed to order spacer rings after test fitting the stem and realizing my error. Planning in advance could save a future buyer the wait of a second delivery cycle.
