After 1 week of using this curling iron, it seems like an excellent tool for achieving my hair dreams. The 1-inch barrel is great for my medium-length, thick hair and gives me curls that relax into a beautiful, blown-out look. It heats up quickly (I have only used the 375* temp so far), and the curling iron itself looks beautiful, which adds a little elegance to my morning routine. The long barrel makes curling all my hair quick and easy, and it doesn't catch in my hair like past curlers have so it's comfortable to use. This isn't a very expensive curling iron, so I'd say it's worth the investment so far.

This curling iron was bought to create or actually recreate little curls around my head when my hair is worn up or side curls when I wear a half pony or ponytail. My hair is naturally curly, medium long,and thick, but never does what I want. So, I curl the ends under with a thick curling iron, make little curls around or in front of my ears with this curling iron and then smash the rest flat with a flat iron. This iron heats up *very* quickly, it clamps small amounts of hair nicely and curls very quickly. These curls last. The iron has several heat settings depending on your hair's texture and thickness. As I only use it for a few curls I set it quite high. You may want a lower heat setting if curling your entire head regularly to avoid heat damage. Caveats: the metal wire to rest the iron on surfaces often doesn't hold perfectly, so set the wire holder before you heat the iron. Also, the clamp works better near the base of the iron. I have burned my ear because the barrel is a bit too long, as I have to clamp small amounts of hair at the base of the iron. It would be a better iron if the barrel were shorter. Use the heat glove, as unwinding long curls gets a bit tricky. All in all its a good iron for small, tighter curls. I can get a cute "70s look" ponytail with side curls in a short period of time. Or, curl little wisps around the edges when I put my hair up. It does what it's made to do and does it quickly.

This was an answer to my dry, damaged hairs prayers!!! It seemed like overnight, my hair went from healthy to dry, brittle and lots of breakage. I looked to all my hair products to see what went wrong. I realized I had been using a 425 setting on my curling iron and that was said to cause breakage. It recommended 350 for bleached hair. I set it to 350 and guess what? It didn't work well and it still seemed like it was breaking my hair!!! I used my dyson, no luck. I researched best tools for damaged hair and this popped up at a great price point! Well, Viola!!! It works!!! Of course I'm using lots of product for damaged hair but it didn't matter with the other choices!!! I get great curl that holds and no breakage at 350. I absolutely recommend this curling iron!!!

I have purchased two of these in different sizes and find them to be quite reliable. I haven’t had any problems with them. I have had the first one (1” size) about three years ago and have had no issues. The second (3/4 inch) is new. The only negative is the hinge for the little support bracket is a bit loose. (A small matter, definitely not a dealbreaker.) I love that you can adjust the temperature so it won’t scorch fine, delicate hair and that it heats up very quickly. A great purchase that I would recommend.

I’ve been using the curling iron for years. When I purchased a new one, it came but it won’t hold my hair. My hair slips right out. Like it is defective. Purchased a second one, it came and was exactly like the first. The iron wasn’t manufactured proper because there is a large gap where my hair slips out because it doesn’t clamp tight. I’m so sad.

Love this curling iron, but I’ve had to replace it 4 times ceramic wears off. Had same issue all 4 times

I have hair past the middle of my back and it’s hard to find a curling iron with a barrel long enough to style very long hair. This one is perfect, it heats quickly, the clip is strong enough to hold thin pieces for detail but not so strong that it pulls my hair, and the cord rotates effortlessly while I’m endlessly spiraling the iron. It’s lightweight and easy to hold.

Es exactamente lo que estaba buscando, deja una onda grande y con una caída preciosa. En melenas XL es ideal pero si tienes el cabello corto la onda ni la verás porque necesita bastante largo de cabello para apreciarse, por eso mismo muchas personas en las reseñas están decepcionadas. La tenacilla es robusta y de calidad, me parece increíble para el buen precio que tiene. Nunca dejó reseñas pero este producto me ha sorprendido demasiado.

Buon prodotto, ma ha una caratteristica negativa: bisogna impostare la temperatura desiderata ad ogni accensione perché non la mantiene in memoria allo spegnimento, questo il motivo di solo quattro stelle.

Similar to a lot of other reviews, the hair clamp/clip part is a little less tight than it could be - maybe? However, if the clamp/clip was any tighter it may cause dents around the top of the hair line. For me, if the clamp were any tighter and combined with my lack of proper technique, I think it may lead to weird dents at my hairline. Overall - this is a great hair tool for all lengths, textures, and thickness of hair types. You can create volume and fullness easier than with a flat iron. Also, because the barrel is so big, it smooths hair faster than with a flat iron. Heats up fast and hot temps of 450 F. I purchased this over 8 months ago - I use it about 3-4 times a week - and it is still working brilliantly!
