This Matte. Black tub trip lever and drain cover set is very nice. It was easy to swap out and took less than 10 minutes once I had the tools. The only tools I needed was a Phillips screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers. First, I removed the two screws holding the trip lever or drain open close lever pulled that old cover plate a little bit away from the wall. Then I add to undo the linkage behind the cover plate and that's where I needed the needle nose to get the pin out. Be very careful not to drop that linkage back into the hole because then you will have a whole nother problem to deal with. Then I put the new trip lever up there and and hooked the linkage through the arm that opens and closes the drain and reinserted the new black screws to match. The bottom drain cover again takes a screw to get the old cover off and then you have a choice, you can screw out the old insert going down into your tub drain system or you can simply put the cap over the existing drain base and screw it in. I chose to screw out the old insert, wipe away the gook and use the brand new insert with a rubber gasket instead of needing any plumber's putty. The new set looks beautiful and was a great update. I recommend this product.

Used this to replace the old chrome stuff I had. This one looks so much better! Easy to install and looks great! Super cheap and seems very high quality. I don't think it will rust and holds water great. Simple installation and functions properly without issues. The black is beautiful and fits perfectly!

Loved this. Great look and function for the price. It is very durable. We’ve had it installed for months and it still looks and works as if it’s brand new. Its color is still black and clean. I highly recommend. It was also easy for my husband to install.

Pretty decent, especially for the price. A lot of matte black items start to peel or crack but this has held up really well. The screw has shown a little “wear and tear” from taking it off several times to clean the drain, but it’s not a huge deal for me. It was a quick easy install which was a plus! It has a good seal, I didn’t even caulk around them. The color is a true matte black. They do show a tiny bit of hard water build up but that’s often the case with matte black bathroom fixtures. I use a magic eraser or some Lysol bathroom cleaner and a sponge to clean.

I have an old bathtub that needed a makeover. These black drain fixtures are beautiful and worked perfectly in my tub. It's easy to just pop out the old ones and pop in the new one. At first the drain wouldn't hold water, but I simply pulled out the plug lever and adjusted the length of the plug. Easy peasy! And i have zero plumbing experience. Worth the money for such a pretty upgrade. I can't wait to do the rest of the tub!
