Why the hate?
It's long but detailed. This is long and detailed.TL/DR is good. Worth the money.Story: They (seller) has been great so far, I tried to exchange one and got the replacement 2 days before I even shipping the broken one back-Working from it... haven't set up paint organization as of yet, 2 slots per row would help IMMENSELY with the...5 white types, 3+black, 5 basing stuff, etc.-YMMVRATING CLARIFICATION-Doesn't hold as much as I'd prefer. Good luck lining it up on the other side.-Can't rate sturdiness. I mean a vacuum cleaner Sparta kicked mine, then having trouble on reassembly. Fell apart not snapped or anything. Won't hold. Plus, glue? Never crossed my mind.-Value: there are and always will be cheaper options but this runs 2 manufacturer's paint, customer service rocks, art toolboxes suck, and THIS IS MODUALR, and friendly for different types (GW, inks, hobby shop ink probably, and Vallejo come to mind)PROs-Very useful, big, (too) bulky, and holds less than expected. But very organized (I have only 2, straight+abgle). It's a good buy. Just not mobile. Yet.-Hardest part is finding a good organization system, have more paint than slots atmNote:(-Did not glue them, upper moderate to low severe holding points. See pictures)-Decent value (looks cool and has more versatility/detailed into than others)-Can't rate sturdiness, girlfriend ran it over with a vacuum when her impatience got her for taking my phone off her but idfk) but may change to 5☆ if glue works. HOWEVER didn't shatter, just won't hold when rebuilt. Pieces look undamaged but won't stay when inserted-Love most modular systems, add as needed, adjust as needed, imagine angle, straight, straight, angle, straight. Left to right, wrap a desk. With other paint tube sets for fun.CON-Wood seems cheap. It's wood, maybe durable pressed wood kdk. Little pressure gaps to squeeze "W" shapes into slots sometimes break, don't work, etc. But awesome when it does.-Back braces fail often, connection pieces don't always connect.-Cheap~ish wood. Maybe. Not a wood scientist btw-Occasional water damage/...mold? Scorch marks? Idk.-cat will chew brushes pointed up (Geemlin's fault but watch out)-3rd pic is my first system, ran...~4-5 a pop at idfk where. Compact. Organized. Go mid, small/large box don't work. Toolbox is an EPIC FAIL. BUT not paint station friendly. Ink/basing doesn't fit, 4 colors per row (2 sets of half) etc. Ink and basing.... good luck. Still running trial and error for almost a year now.Worth the purchase. Study enough to eat a vacuum cleaner to the face. Modular.

Well thought-out storage scheme
Using this 35mm version for some of my Citadel paints. It's laser-cut MDF, which is a pretty perfect and cost-effective way to have a light but precisely-built storage solution that helps you see your paints at a glance, keep them safe from being knocked over by errant hands, pets, or kids, and also provides excellent built-in storage with the bonus of expansion options (additional racks that can be clipped together, drawers, risers). Sometimes I move desks/tables for painting and it's easy enough to just pick up this whole rack and take it with me.I've since added another 35mm straight unit, a 26mm corner unit for my bottle paints, two sets of drawers, and a riser for the 90 degree corner unit I'm using. These make everything presentable, extremely functional, and allow you to keep brushes, files, and all your other tools properly stored but easily at-hand. You can't go wrong with these, just make sure you purchase the right dimension for the paints you intend to store. These 35mm units are intended for Citadel paints, and Vallejo/S75/etc should generally use the 26mm.Use a file to clean up the edges where you separate the unit from the frame, and some wood glue to make sure you get a permanent build. For these paint rack units I didn't need a mallet, but I did for the riser and drawer expansions I got later. Broken Token also provides illustrated instructions with each unit, along with a link to a video if that's more helpful for you.

Happy Customer
The glue is still drying on some of the pieces but I'd say I'm pretty happy. Pretty straightforward instructions. Most pieces fit snug but wood glue is still necessary. Very little sanding needed. Looks great. The only thing I think worth mentioning that others haven't said is that to fit Vallejo 60ml bottles in the 36mm holders, you have to do a bit of sanding to widen the hole. Craft acrylics like folk art fit without though.

Solid if you don't move it
A solid organizer for your paints and brushes. Very easy to assemble and can attach to copies of itself. I'd recommend super gluing it together because if you try to move it or bump it too hard it'll just fall apart.

Fantastic rack, fits Apple Barrel paints perfectly!
This is a great rack for holding Walmart Apple Barrel paints! They fit just right and the staggered rows make it easy to read the labels to check which color you're grabbing. The paintbrush holes are awesome, there are two levels of holes in addition to a solid piece of wood underneath them so the brushes stand up nice and straight. The rack is made out of laser cut plywood. It's a little fussy to put together, it's easy to slot all the pieces into the first side but then fitting the second side on is where it gets tricky. You have to get all the pieces aligned just right which takes some work (you'll get most of them lined up and then while trying to align the last one or two some of the others will pop out of alignment, so you have to work back and forth until you finally have them all). I assembled it dry and then wicked thin C/A into the joints. It's very solid and sturdy. So nice to have my paints organized so I don't have to hunt all over my work space for a certain color!

The stand is very week. Will not buy again.
The stand is very weak, Will not buy again. I have hobby zone brand. They are much nicer, sturdier, easier to read the paint bottle labels.

What an amazing Improvement!
Holy dang, I'm getting the little tingles from seeing something so well organized after wasting so much time in the past searching for paints.Tips to avoid being one of the people giving lower scores to this product. If you're not comfortable building wooden models maybe this is not for you.Use wood glue on all points of contact and make sure it's fit tightly together when you leave it to dry overnight. It fits standard paint sizes so make sure you're ordering the correct rack.
