I do all my own work in the house and Used these for complete pantry remodel. They lock the side panels and shelves together very well. They function just like they should, but you need to measure carefully the first time you bore the hole since they need to be slightly offset from the edge of the board. This size is good without being too large, and I had a few left over for the next project. A good amount for what you pay.

Bought these because I had misplaced the cam screws/pins from a ClosetMaid closet organizer shelf system. I could not find the right pieces at local hardware stores and these appeared the closest to what I was looking for. I was able to install the pins and they worked perfectly for what I was trying to do. Have not used the cams, but they appear to be of similar quality and size to the ClosetMaid hardware and am fairly confident they would work as expected too.

Once you figure out how to layout the holes these things are great. Very tight. Very strong.
