Having A Separate Lid Makes It Ideal Item To Have Next To Your Bed If You Wake Up During The Night Thirsty. Or In My Case When I Wake Up In The Morning Before Anything Else, I Like To Drink A Glass Of Water To Start My Day.The Copper Container With Lid Keeps It Pure And Fresh All Night. Does Not Leak, Very Sturdy Container, Lid Is A Little Stiff When You First Try To Remove From The Item.Other Reviews Mentioned This And Like Myself Found It Is Not A Big Deal.Would Rather It Be That Way Than It Rattling Around Damaging The Copper On The Item. I Found It Was Good Value For The Money And The Workmanship Was Very Good. Would Buy Again And Recommend To A Friend. Water Tasted Cool And Refreshing.

This looks fairly small when it arrives but easily holds a litre. I put water in it overnight, ready for the morning to get a healthy dose of copper minerals. Then I dry it out soon after, to prevent it getting too oxidised. It looks good, with a bright sheen. Even after holding the handle for a few seconds you can smell the pure copper metal on your fingers so it's not coated. There is a good little instruction manual that comes with it, including letting you know that some patina over time is a natural part of pure copper. But as mentioned if you dry it with a dish towel daily that is minimised.

The jug arrived intact. I’ve used it and can taste the difference in the quality of water from the tap. The only niggle is the lid gets stuck and is quite difficult to lift.

This copper jug holds a litre of water, it looks very attractive and copper charges water; bringing it to life essentially. My cat only drinks a little water and often gets bladder infections, but when I give him water from the copper kettle, he gulps an entire bowl!

not copper...is becoming black afther one use ..smels like rusty iron ..This is not only a false claim but a health hazard. I bought these for health reasons and they should be held accountable.

This is a really nice jug I know it will darken after some time, but I bought it for the health benefits. The lid was stuck inside the jug but I managed to pull it out with a bit of force and no damage done to the lid or jug.

Kupfer ist sehr gesund für den menschlichen / tierischen Körper. Minimale Kupfer-Abgabe im Getränk. Das gefällt mir. Der Krug sieht auch toll aus und ist ein Blickfang.

Bien es cierto que se oxida y eso es de lo más normal aunque por el momento solo lo ha hecho por fuera , eso quiere decir que tiene algún recubrimiento interior que eso no me gusta y espero no sea así pues el tema de comprar una jarra de cobre es precisamente que el agua esté en contacto con el cobre . El tamaño aun siendo litro y medio se me queda algo pequeño La jarra está bien hecha y la tapa es tal y como debe ser una tapa cierra bien y se habre bien con cierta presión para evitar se caiga al inclinarla para servir , es una buena compra y sin duda la recomiendo salvo por el interior que eso se solocuonara con el tiempo .
